JUST IN: Notable Trump-Hating Democrat In Hot Water, Ethics Complaint Resurfaces

Another day, another Democrat hypocrite is revealed to the masses.

Democrat Rep. Jamie Raskin is one of the most outspoken anti-Trump voices in Washington DC—he has practically made a career off of hating President Trump.

A conservative watchdog organization has re-lodged an ethics complaint first filed against Raskin in 2022.

The Center for Renewing America alleges that Raskin failed to properly disclose a $1.5 million payout his wife received resulting from the trading of individual stocks. Two years ago, Raskin issued this statement:

“The floor of the House of Representatives is not the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. Members of Congress should give up trading individual stocks—a small price to pay for strengthening public trust in the institution. Let’s change the law now.”

Fox Business detailed the complaint:

FOX Business and Business Insider reported that the Maryland Democrat had waited eight months to disclose a $1.5 million payout his wife received after she sold 195,936 shares of Reserve Trust.

A federal financial disclosure listed the initial transaction date as Dec. 18, 2020, but Rep. Raskin, the ranking member on the House Oversight Committee, did not file paperwork disclosing the trade until August 2021.

Daniel Brewer admonished Raskin over this alleged scandal: “Not good Jamie. Not good at all. Ironically so, Jamie Raskin’s sign “Not above the law” seems very fitting.”

Despite this ethics complaint, Raskin is badgering the Trump organization over its financial disclosures, The Hill revealed:

The letter from Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) follows a report from the committee concluding Trump earned nearly $8 million from foreign governments while in office.

Trump failed to disclose those profits to Congress, something Raskin said violates the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution, which bars leaders from accepting anything of value from foreign governments without the blessing of lawmakers.
