They say politics makes strange bedfellows, and outrage over the Biden administration’s border crisis continues to drive many unlikely supporters toward GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump.
That list includes a growing number of hip-hop stars, most recently Curtis Jackson, who’s known professionally as 50 Cent. He railed against a new proposal from Democratic New York City Mayor Eric Adams to distribute $53 million in pre-paid credit cards to migrants in the country illegally.
According to Fox News:
He wrote, “WTF mayor Adams call my phone, I don’t understand how this works. Somebody explain.”
He also mentioned how MSNBC host Ari Melber “can’t explain this” to him, adding, “I’m stuck.”
50 Cent then provided one last statement, revealing how frustrated this new policy makes him. He added, “Maybe Trump is the answer.”
The rapper has mulled over voting for Trump in past elections when faced with a Democratic Party he hasn’t liked.
The quasi-endorsement attracted significant attention on social media:

And he’s not the only rapper who’s been warming up to Trump recently.
As USA Today reported less than a week ago:
Following their highly publicized feud, Snoop Dogg is extending an olive branch to former President Donald Trump.
The rapper, who had previously been vocal in his disapproval of Trump’s presidency, appeared to change his tune in an interview with The Sunday Times published Sunday. “Donald Trump? He ain’t done nothing wrong to me,” Snoop Dogg told the British outlet. “He has done only great things for me. He pardoned Michael Harris.”
Alongside Suge Knight and Dr. Dre, Harris co-founded the record label Death Row Records in the early ’90s, which signed Snoop Dogg for the release of his debut album “Doggystyle” in 1993. Trump commuted Harris’ prison sentence in 2021, along with 69 others, after he had served 30 years of a 25-year-to-life sentence for conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
“I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump,” Snoop Dogg said.
