Will Dr. Ben Carson join President Trump on the 2024 ticket?
Rumors have been circulating since late last year that Carson is the frontrunner for President Trump’s Vice Presidential pick.
At roughly the same time, we are also hearing rumors that President Trump wants to select a woman to run alongside him in 2024, but it is still too early to tell who the Trump VP will be.
In a recent interview with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, Carson was asked squarely about the possibility of running alongside President Trump but did not provide any specifics.
However, what he did confirm was that the former President called him to ask how they could save the country together.
Does this mean Carson is on President Trump’s shortlist for VP? Here’s what Carson had to say in response to the question:

Ben Carson As Trump’s VP Pick Would Be A Solid Choice.
He Doesn’t Need Charisma Like Trump Because Trump Has Enough For Both Of Them.

Washington Examiner had the full quote from Carson:
“I don’t want to talk about what we’ve talked about, but we’ve talked about what can we do to save this country and that we will work together to make sure that America remains America.”
KK Berd shared this video dating back to the 2016 Presidential debates and writes:
“President Trump and Dr Ben Carson have a special bond. I believe he can be trusted in a Trump administration. Good guy!

Previously, Newsweek reported:
While Carson’s name may be overshadowed by other high-profile Republicans, he has previously signaled his White House ambitions, launching his own presidential bid in 2016.
Carson dropped out after Super Tuesday and endorsed Trump, describing him as representing “the voice of the people to be heard.”
