Earlier today, a verdict was reached in the E. Jean Caroll defamation case against President Trump.
To sum it up, the New York court ordered Trump to pay Caroll an insane amount of money – $83 MILLION – all because he spoke out against her in 2019 after she came forward with an eyebrow-raising story about Trump raping her in a dressing room over 20 years ago.
But, Trump’s fireball lawyer, Alina Habba, isn’t holding back…
When a journalist asked her if she regretted representing Trump in the case while leaving the courthouse following the outrageous verdict, Habba was quick to reply,
“No, I’m not having any second thoughts about representing President Trump. It is the proudest thing I could ever do.”
Then, she ERUPTED on the New York court system, telling the journalist, “don’t get it twisted..I’m so proud to stand with President Trump. But I am not proud to stand with what I saw in that courtroom.”

Trump has already vowed to appeal the court’s decision.
From ABC News:
Addressing the media outside the courthouse, Trump attorney Alina Habba slammed the $83 million verdict, dismissing the jury as “ridiculous” and repeating Trump’s vow to immediately appeal.
“We will immediately appeal. We will set aside that ridiculous jury,” Habba said. “I assure you — we didn’t win today, but we will win.”
Habba repeated her grievances with the orders from the judge, who instructed the defense that, based on the ruling in Trump’s previous trial, they could not dispute that Trump assaulted Carroll and later defamed her when he denied it.
“You are not allowed to be stripped of every defense you have,” Habba said.
Habba said she was “so proud” to represent Trump, and repeated his familiar claim that he is being targeted for political purposes.
The Hill also reported:
Alina Habba, a lawyer for former President Trump, said Friday she was proud to represent him, after a jury ruled in favor of columnist E. Jean Carroll in her defamation trial against the former president.
“I have sat on trial after trial for months in this state, the state of New York, Attorney General Letitia James and now this. Weeks, weeks. Why? Because President Trump is leading in the polls and now we see what you get in New York,” Habba said addressing the media after the jury decision, reported by CNN.
“So don’t get it twisted,” she continued. “I am so proud to stand with President Trump. But I am not proud to stand with what I saw in that courtroom.”
Habba’s fiery statements come just after Trump was ordered to pay Carroll $83.8 million for defaming her when in 2019 he denied accusations that he sexually assaulted her decades earlier.
