Alyssa Milano needs our help, guys.
Yesterday, the actress-turned-activist took to Twitter to ask her online followers to donate to her son’s baseball team.
According to the link that the post takes you to, the kids’ baseball team needs to raise $10,000 for an upcoming away game in Cooperstown, NY.
Will you please help out?
Here’s Milano’s original post begging for donations from online followers:
My son’s baseball team is raising money for their Cooperstown trip. Any amount would be so greatly appreciated. You can read more about the team and make a donation here:https://t.co/PMV9aEFnou

Reportedly, Alyssa Milano’s net worth is estimated to be somewhere around $10 million, and her Hollywood agent husband is worth an additional $5 million.
Per Parade:
Alyssa Milano’s net worth in 2024 is estimated to be in the $10 million range, per Celebrity Net Worth.
Her husband, David Bugliari, had an estimated net worth of $5 million. Bugliari was a partner at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and is now part of Range Media Partners as a talent agent. He counts Bradley Cooper, Vince Vaughn, Shailene Woodley, Casey Affleck, Halle Berryand, yes, Milano, among his clients, so it’s unlikely they’re hurting for cash unless they’re spending like they have Elon Musk-level funds.
And yet, she can’t be bothered to pay for her own son’s baseball trip…
As you might have guessed, Milano is getting absolutely roasted online over her tone-deafness.
So, much so that replies are now restricted on her original tweet!
As these X users pointed out:
Now, here's something interesting: with a net worth of $10,000,000, @Alyssa_Milano is asking us to help fund her kids baseball team’s trip to Cooperstown?
Pfft… It’s no wonder she limited her replies. https://t.co/OHrqLniMUn

Please be advised, Alyssa Milano will NOT be wasting HER money on a blue check or her son’s baseball trip – because why should she when she can waste yours instead!? 💸
You can’t comment on her post but you can still donate. 👍 #AbsolutelyNot #Millionaire#AlyssaMilano https://t.co/PBBrsxujXi pic.twitter.com/PBoRzm6iNr— CallMeKrist*😏 (@courtreporterKG) January 26, 2024
Still, that hasn’t stopped the flurry of responses on X:
Alyssa “crazy loon” Milano started a GoFundMe for her son’s baseball team. 🤔
What’s wrong? Not working lately? 🤣
Who thinks Alyssa is a fucking wacko bitch who needs some serious mental help 😃 pic.twitter.com/959GvvBu6N

Of course, Brian Krassenstein found a way to attack Donald Trump for this:
Alyssa Milano Net Worth – $10 Million
Asks for people to help her son's entire Baseball team raise money to travel to Cooperstown = MAGA is outraged
Donald Trump Net Worth – $2.6 BILLION (260X Milano's)
Asks for people to help him fundraise to fight off 91 felonies, sexual… pic.twitter.com/EXiSY7cRYL

In response to all the backlash over asking online strangers to ‘chip in’ to fund her son’s baseball trip, the multimillionaire defended herself in another post on X to say she has contributed to the team, in the form of buying uniforms, throwing birthday parties, and sponsoring poorer kids on the team…
Isn’t that nice?
I’m getting media inquiries about whether I have financially contributed to my son’s baseball team.
I’ve paid for uniforms for the entire team and coaches, thrown bday parties and sponsor any kid who can’t afford monthly dues.
The kids also do fundraising themselves—car washes,…

Still, as TMZ pointed out, Alyssa Milano’s name does not appear on the donor list for the Cooperstown trip…
As you can imagine, the jokes are flying at Alyssa’s expense — but a lot of folks are genuinely outraged that she’d try to fundraise considering her position. Even more interesting is the fact that in the list of visible donors, none appear to feature her name.
The Daily Mail also commented:
Alyssa Milano has been slammed on social media for sharing a GoFundMe asking for donations for her 12-year-old son’s baseball team trip.
The Charmed star – who is believed to be a multimillionaire – set up the online fundraiser herself under her married name Alyssa Bugliari, and then shared it to her 3.4M followers on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Milano, 51, is married to powerhouse Hollywood agent David Bugliari, 43, who used to be a co-head of the motion picture department at CAA.
Fans widely mocked the post, flooding her replies with memes, including one that said the actress ‘identifies as poor’ when it is time to pay the bills.
After receiving backlash, Milano defended herself on X, telling followers she has paid ‘for uniforms for the entire team and coaches’ herself as well as thrown birthday parties and sponsored ‘any kid who can’t afford monthly dues.’
She added: ‘The kids also do fundraising themselves—car washes, movie nights, and many other fun things! Thank you to all who have contributed to the gofundme! You’ve made things easier for these boys and their families.’
So what do you think?
Will you be making a donation?
