The Battle Continues – “This Is NOT Over” Says Abbott, Paxton on Texas Border Razor Wire Ruling

To have, or not to have razor wire: that is the question.

It would seem that there’s a tug of war of wills happening down at the border.

And Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is facing off against the Supreme Court’s ruling.

I will say this, concerning the border it’s never a dull moment.

The eyes of the nation are focused on it.

Is razor wire the solution? You can cut the wire without much struggle. But a wall, that’s another story.

The real goal is to get the wall up.

A proper wall, good and tall, that stands between us and those that would seek to sneak in.

Gateway Pundit reports:

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on Monday evening vowed to defy the Supreme Court’s ruling on razor wire at the southern border.

The US Supreme Court on Monday sided with the Biden Regime and allowed Border Patrol agents to remove razor wire installed on the Texas-Mexico border.

In a 5-4 vote, the Supreme Court granted Biden’s emergency request.

This is the 9th time that the Supreme Court has sided with the Biden Regime out of 14 emergency applications.

Ken Paxton hit back and vowed to defend Texas’ sovereignty.

“The Supreme Court’s temporary order allows Biden to continue his illegal effort to aid the foreign invasion of America. The destruction of Texas’s border barriers will not help enforce the law or keep American citizens safe. This fight is not over, and I look forward to defending our state’s sovereignty.” Ken Paxton said.

MSN added:

Paxton added that the decision “allows Biden to continue his illegal effort to aid the foreign invasion of America,” but the Department of Homeland Security said the fencing put in along a 29-mile stretch of Rio Grande in and around Eagle Pass has actually made apprehending migrants more difficult.

Meanwhile, Abbott and Paxton that the ruling does not mark the end of the handling of border issues by the state.

“This fight is not over, and I look forward to defending our state’s sovereignty,” Paxton posted.

Abbott said much the same: “This is not over.”
