Tucker Carlson is a name a lot of people have floated as someone they would like to see chosen as Trump’s VP…and Donald Trump Jr. has just confirmed that it’s definitely a possibility.
Don Jr. says that Tucker Carlson as Trump’s VP “clearly would be on the table.” Speaking to Newsmax, Trump’s son spoke of his father and Tucker as being “very friendly, they agree on virtually all of these [issues], they agree on stopping the never-ending wars.”
Trump Jr. added his opinion, “I would love to see that happen. That would certainly be a contender.”

Don Jr. also chimed in on some other possible VP picks…and said that he “would do whatever I could to make sure it wasn’t Nikki Haley!”

Donald Trump Jr. said Thursday that Tucker Carlson as a potential running mate for his father, Donald Trump, “clearly would be on the table.” (Watch the video below.)
“They’re very friendly, they agree on virtually all of these [issues], they agree on stopping the never-ending wars,” the former president’s eldest son said on Newsmax. “I would love to see that happen. That would certainly be a contender.”
Trump, the Republican front-runner who just won the Iowa caucuses handily, said in November that he would consider the fired Fox News host “because he’s got great common sense.” The New York Times’ Maggie Haberman later confirmed there was some substance to the possibility.
Carlson told right-wing comic Roseanne Barr recently that he supported Trump and was flattered by the consideration. But when asked if he’d accept if asked to be vice president on the ticket, Carlson replied, “I guess I’d have to think about that.”
Mediaite added:
Donald Trump Jr. appeared on Newsmax Thursday — where he speculated about former Fox News golden boy Tucker Carlson being picked as his dad’s vice presidential candidate.
“Don, is your dad serious about Tucker Carlson? Are those rumors serious?” asked Newsmax anchor Rob Finnerty.
“That clearly would be on the table, right? I mean they’re very friendly, I think they agree on virtually all of these things. They certainly agree on stopping the never-ending wars. And so, I would love to see that happen. That would certainly be a contender,” Don Jr. said.
Other names floated included Ron DeSantis (R-FL), Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), and Ben Carson.
“You need someone who’s in alignment, as well as, like, aggressive. You actually need a fighter,” Junior said. “The Republicans in Washington, D.C., are weak. You can have the House, the Senate, and they’ll still roll over.”
