BREAKING: High-Powered Trump Lawyer WITHDRAWS From Case

High-powered Trump attorney Joe Tacopina has just filed a motion to withdraw from the E. Jean Carroll Case.

At this time, the reasons for Tacopina’s withdrawal are unclear and are not known, though one left-wing source claimed that the attorney was at odds with the rest of the Trump legal team.

WLTR cannot confirm or deny that particular report at this time.

What is known is that Judge Lewis Kaplan recently reversed an earlier decision and will now allow President Trump a one-week delay to provide his testimony in the E. Jean Carroll case.

According to Judge Kaplan’s ruling, the 45th President will be able to testify in the Carroll case even if the case has concluded. Here’s Tacopina’s motion and more on the story:

ABC News confirmed:

Joe Tacopina told ABC News, “I withdrew on all matters.”

Tacopina accompanied Trump when the former president pleaded not guilty in New York last April to charges that he falsified business records stemming from his hush payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

Tacopina stated: “I write to respectfully inform the Court that my firm, Chad Seigel and I hereby withdraw as counsel for Defendant Donald J. Trump in this proceeding.”

Left-wing Rolling Stone magazine claimed: “Joe Tacopina reps the biggest names. But his fellow Trump attorneys couldn’t stand him, calling him a “dumb” “loudmouth.” Now, he’s gone.”

The Epoch Times also reported:

A separate motion filed in a separate court showed that Mr. Tacopina is also withdrawing from an appeal of the civil defamation and battery case against President Trump involving writer E. Jean Carroll, which was also scant on details.

“Notably, counsel’s withdrawal will not preclude the perfecting of the instant appeal. Indeed, Trump’s brief and appendices have already been filed,” it said, in part.
