Big GOP Name Drops Out Of 2024 Presidential Race

Another GOP candidate has dropped out of the 2024 presidential race.

Vivek Ramaswamy has made more noise than anyone on the republican ticket, but it appears his time is over for now.

He made the announcement after what many called a difficult showing during the Iowa caucuses.

Vivek is now putting his support entirely behind President Donald Trump.

He had this to say following the announcement:

“Now going forward, he (Donald Trump) will have my full endorsement for the presidency.”

Here’s the story from NBC:

DES MOINES, Iowa — Businessman Vivek Ramaswamy dropped out of the 2024 presidential race Monday night after a disappointing showing in the Iowa caucuses and endorsed former President Donald Trump.

The 38-year-old entrepreneur was not well known when he entered the race in February 2023, in his first run for political office. But he quickly broke through with Republican voters in a campaign that aligned with Trump in both tone and policy substance, as he positioned himself as an heir to the MAGA movement.

The 38-year-old came in a distant fourth in the caucuses, the first 2024 contest in the nation, behind former President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former U.N. Amb. Nikki Haley.

‘I think it is true that we did not achieve the surprise that we wanted to deliver tonight,’ he told supporters in Des Moines. ‘As of this moment we are going to suspend this presidential campaign … there is no path for me to be the next president absent things we don’t want to see in this country.’

Ramaswamy said he called Trump earlier in the night – and endorsed the former president, saying an ‘America First’ candidate needed to be the one to win the White House.

Vivek is all in on Trump now.

This should be interesting.
