Just a few days ago, I brought you the report that Mask Mandates were returning to Johns Hopkins Hospital System:

Now comes word that UCLA Health Systems is following suit.

Actually, it looks as though UCLA may have been first.

In any event, the major hospital systems appear to be bringing Mask Mandates back….right on schedule for the 2024 Election?

The below represents current visitor guidelines for all UCLA Health patient care areas.

Please note: 

  • Beginning October 1, 2023, UCLA Health will observe the following guidelines:
    • Masks are required in patient care areas (ex. patient rooms, clinic suites, and patient waiting areas), inclusive of visitors.
    • Masks are not required for visitors in non-patient care areas, including, but not limited to main lobbies, unit hallways and visitor/family waiting rooms.
    • Masks are required upon entry to ambulatory clinics.
  • Visitors for in-patient visits must check in at the hospitality services information desk for a visitor badge.
  • We strongly recommend that visitors refrain from eating in the patient care areas.
  • If you are experiencing a cough, cold or symptoms of any infectious disease, please stay home.

Visitor guidelines by patient population

Adult and pediatric inpatients (including shared rooms), labor & delivery patients and NICU babies

  • There may be instances where visitors will be limited due to space, safety, privacy and clinical needs.
  • One overnight visitor per patient is allowed unless safe care is impacted.
  • All visitors must register at the information desk to receive a badge and be symptom-free of any infectious disease.
  • Ronald Reagan NICU: Due to space constraints, visits from children may be limited.

Same day surgery patients

  • There may be instances where visitors will be limited due to space, safety, privacy and clinical needs.
  • Visitors will be assigned to a designated waiting room.
  • All visitors must register at the information desk to receive a badge and be symptom-free of any infectious disease.

Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital patients

  • RNPH visitation is designed according to treatment plans and structured scheduling of patient activities permitting two healthy visitors per patient. Visitation cannot be split or shared between multiple visitors. Telephone calls remain available for those unable to visit in person.Unit specific visitation:
    • 4E: Monday – Friday: 5:30 – 6:30 pm; Saturday – Sunday and holidays: 2 – 4 pm and 5:30 – 6:30 pm
    • 4N: Monday – Friday: 5 – 6 pm; Saturday – Sunday and holidays: 4 – 6 pm
    • 4W: Monday – Friday: 6 – 7 pm; Saturday – Sunday and holidays: 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 7 pm
  • If patients are in a semi-private room, one patient will have their visitor during regular unit visiting hours and the other patient will have their visitor during the subsequent hour, to be arranged by unit staff.
  • Visitors must visit in the patient’s room.

Emergency Departments

  • Ronald Reagan and Santa Monica Medical Centers: 2 visitors for patients in emergency department rooms and 1 visitor for patients in hallway beds.
    • Pediatric patients: 2 healthy visitors/guardians at a time.
    • Visitors may be asked to leave if the department becomes overcrowded.
    • All visitors must check in with security for a visitor badge, be symptom-free of any infectious disease and stay in the patient’s room.
    • Visitors with patients slated for admission must check in at the main lobby information desk to receive a visitor badge prior to going to the patient room.

Ambulatory clinics, infusion areas and labs

  • All visitors must be symptom-free of any infectious disease.

Another day, another ‘conspiracy theory’ proved correct.

During a closed-door meeting with the Committee on Coronavirus Pandemic.

Dr. Fauci admitted that social distancing had no backing in science; instead, it “sort of just appeared.”

The folks at Fox News have more on the story:

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the public face of the U.S. coronavirus pandemic response, told lawmakers this week that the social distancing recommendations forced on Americans “sort of just appeared” and were likely not based on scientific data.

Fauci, 83, made the startling revelation in a closed-door interview with the House Select Committee on Coronavirus Pandemic. He also testified that the lab leak hypothesis — which was often suppressed — was not a conspiracy theory and that the policies and mandates he promoted may increase vaccine hesitancy in the future, Committee Chair Brad Wenstrup, R-Ohio, wrote in a statement Wednesday.

Wenstrup’s committee has been investigating whether government officials at the time, including Fauci, worked to suppress questions about whether the pandemic was the result of a lab leak in Wuhan, China.

Republicans have accused those officials of pushing the natural origin theory in a bid to protect China.

“It never struck me that six feet was particularly sensical in the context of mitigation,” Dr. Ashish Jha, the dean of the Brown University School of Public Health who served as President Biden’s COVID response coordinator for 15 months, told the New York Times in March 2021.

“I wish the CDC would just come out and say this is not a major issue.”

Asked about a study in Massachusetts schools that found just three feet of distance between students resulted in “similar” COVID case rates, Fauci said the same month the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was “very carefully” reviewing the data and would “likely” update them.

If they were lying about the social distancing stuff, what else are they lying about?

When are they going to admit that the vaccine was NOT safe?

Astonishing. So what would it take to overdose on Ivermectin?

“And there have been accidental poisonings where people have taken large amounts. But you know what happens every time? When they take these massive amounts of Ivermectin, it tends to affect them neurologically. They’ll get confused. They might be stumbling — uncoordinated. They go to the hospital, and there’s no treatment required. But within days, the patients return to normal. So, there’s been no life-ending injuries. No deaths reported with Ivermectin. So, that shows you why it’s one of the safest drugs in history, even at massive overdoses.
