WATCH: Journalists Caught on Hot Mic Joking About JFK-Style Trump Assassination

Just in case you needed a reminder of exactly what kind of sick, twisted people the left-wing mainstream media is made out of…get this: Two journalists were caught on hot mic earlier today cracking ‘jokes’ about assassinating President Trump, JFK style.

On Tuesday, President Trump was expected to appear at the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals to listen to the arguments for presidential immunity in his case.

In anticipation of Trump’s arrival at the courthouse, the media set up microphones and cameras. But, this backfired on them, capturing something they probably didn’t want you to hear…

Two reporters talking with each other about assassinating Trump “like JFK” and complaining about not being able to get a “good shot” from their position.

Watch and listen to the disturbing conversation between the two journalists here for yourself:

Here’s a transcript of the journalist’s sick discussion:

JOURNO 1: You know what the worst part is? Even if he has his window open and he’s hanging out of it, he will be on the other side of the street.

JOURNO 2: I mean, if he’s driving, we’ve got a good shot!

JOURNO 1: Yeah, if he’s driving with the front window open?

JOURNO 2: Yeah, or if it’s a convertible?

JOURNO 1: Yeah. I wasn’t thinking about that.

JOURNO 2: Yeah. Like if he just pulls up–

JOURNO 1: Like JFK?

JOURNO 2: (laughs)

JOURNO 1: Maybe someone, just like they told JFK. You know what you should do? You should take a convertible! It’s so nice out!

Now, we don’t know what media outlet these journalists worked for, but the feed the conversation was picked up on by was run by AP.

Is it any surprise at all that stories are so one-sided and biased with people like these working for them?

Social media users were quick to point out that this isn’t the first time ‘jokes’ about Trump being assassinated have been made:

Others pointed out how much more seriously these reporters’ sense of ‘humor’ would be taken if it weren’t about Trump…

The New York Post has more to say:

Two media members were heard cracking jokes over a hot mic Tuesday about former President Donald Trump being cut down by an assassin’s bullet as they waited for him to appear at the federal courthouse in Washington.

The unidentified male journalists had their news cameras stationed outside the E. Barrett Prettyman US Courthouse when they started to grouse about the difficulties of getting a view of the 77-year-old 2024 Republican front-runner.

“You know what the worst part is? Even if he has his window open and he’s hanging out of it, he will be on the other side of the street,” one person could be heard saying on the live feed from the Associated Press.

“I mean, if he’s driving, we’ve got a good shot,” the second reporter said hopefully, to which the first replied: “Yeah, if he’s driving with the front window open.”

The conversation then swerved into gallows humor about the former president arriving in an open-top car like the one President John F. Kennedy was riding in when he was assassinated in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963.

“Yeah, or if it’s a convertible,” the second person said.

“Yeah, I wasn’t thinking about that,” replied the first.

“Yeah, like if he just pulls up —” the second started to say before the first interjected and asked: “Like JFK?”

“Maybe someone, just like they told JFK, ‘You know what you should do? You should take a convertible! It’s so nice out,’” the media member continued, to laughter from his cohorts.

Mediaite added some more context to the journalists’ dark conversation:

A hot mic caught journalists joking about former President Donald Trump being assassinated as they awaited his appearance at the federal courthouse where his criminal immunity appeal will be held.

The DC Circuit Court of Appeals is set to hear oral arguments on Tuesday, January 9, on the issue of presidential immunity after Judge Tanya Chutkan denied two motions to dismiss based on First Amendment and presidential immunity claims.

The appeal will be heard by a three-judge panel consisting of Judge J. Michelle Childs, who was nominated by President Joe Biden in January 2022 and confirmed in July 2022; Judge Florence Pan, nominated by Biden in May 2022 and confirmed in September 2022; and Judge Karen LeCraft Henderson, who was appointed by then-President George H.W. Bush in 1990.
