Panic Setting In? Top Democrat Senator Urges Biden Not To Debate Trump

President Donald Trump has chosen not to waste any time debating his republican challengers in the 2024 GOP primary.

However, there’s one man he’s very eager to debate, Joe Biden.

Biden, who can barely string one complete sentence together these days, would obviously not fair well in a debate with Trump.

This is something that any democrat with half a brain cell knows all to well.

The problem is, Biden is a wild card.

He breaks from his handlers all the time, which is evident by their uncomfortable reactions in public.

Democrats may be beginning to fear the possibility of Trump vs Biden part 2, as they’re starting to speak out against a potential debate between the two.

Democrat Senator Dick Durbin is urging Biden not to debate Trump.

His alleged reasoning really exposes his true fears though.

Durbin claimed that a debate with Trump would only be an “opportunity for him to display his extremism.”

Really now? If that were the case, you’d think democrats would be thrilled at the potential for Trump to show what a horrible “extremist” he is.

Clearly, that’s not the case though.

Democrats are simply in a panic about how badly this debate would go for Biden…

The Hill reported on Durbin’s advice to Biden:

Democratic lawmakers are leery about the prospect of President Biden debating former President Trump, fearing that putting the two on stage together would only elevate the likely GOP nominee.

Trump has skipped every Republican presidential primary debate thus far but says he’s eager to debate Biden.

He told conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt before Christmas that he would “look forward” to facing Biden and suggested 10 debates.

Democratic lawmakers, however, are not relishing that scenario.

“I would think twice about it,” said Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin (Ill.) about the prospect of Biden debating Trump.

“I’ve been physically present at one of [Trump’s] debates with Hillary Clinton, and I watched him do outrageous things and say outrageous things. It’s just an opportunity for him to display his extremism.”

Daily Caller also reported on the panic from democrats:

Democratic Delaware Sen. Chris Coons noted that Trump has yet to win the Republican nomination, stating, “I’m not going to get ahead of myself on campaign strategy.” He said Trump “was unable to conduct himself in just a minimally reasonable way” when he debated Biden during the 2020 election, adding that his refusal to debate GOP primary challengers “would make a pretty strong case for not dignifying him as a candidate by sharing a debate stage,” the outlet reported.

Democratic strategist James Carville warned that debating Trump would be a risk for Biden, who he said would look bad if he dodged facing his potential political opponent, according to the outlet.

“There’s a damage if you don’t [debate]. There’s a damage if you don’t do well,” Carville said. “It’s kind of expected as a presidential candidate.”

Even democrat voters are panicking over a potential debate between the two:

That’s some hardcore coping.
