NCAA Team Takes Knee And Prays Before Landmark Game!

Normally, when we write about a football team taking the knee we are about to launch into a tirade on why wokeness is destroying the country. However, this story is heart-warming and a tale of faith in sports.

The Michigan Wolverines, an NCAA team, took a knee in prayer before their match against Alabama on New Year’s Day.

That’s right, the team actually prayed instead of complaining or staging some liberal adolescent protest.

And guess what? They won their game against Alabama! The Michigan Wolverines are now heading to the National Championships to face the Washington Huskies on January 8th.

The game will take place in Houston and is sure to be a crowd-pleaser for those into that sort of thing. Sports Spectrum provided a photo of the heart-warming moment.

One player, Donovan Edwards, opened up about his faith during this short interview with Isaiah Hole, a journalist who provides coverage for the team.

Breitbart provided this statement from Wolverine’s player Donovan Edwards:

“It’s not difficult for me to praise God and, you know, to give Him glory because He’s always given me — He’s always been there for me, you know when everything was high, so I’d be doing a disgrace to God if I wasn’t praising Him when everything was low,” Edwards said.

Sports fans celebrated the Michigan Wolverine’s recent victory against Alabama as part of the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day.

ESPN reports:

The No. 1 Wolverines (14-0) will face the No. 2 Huskies (14-0) in the College Football Playoff National Championship game on Jan. 8 at NRG Stadium in Houston.

This year’s title game — the last in a four-team playoff before the field expands to 12 for the 2024 season — will feature two undefeated squads making their first appearance in the championship game in the CFP era.

WATCH: NFL Team Owner Openly Disrespects Fans During Game!

I don’t know much about football, but I do know about the golden rule!

Recently surfaced videos online show Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper getting angry over a 26-0 loss during a New Year’s Eve football game against the Jaguars. Tepper appears to have thrown his drink at fans in an apparent rage.

It is not clear who Tepper hit with his drink, with some sources reporting that he hit a Jaguars fan, but at roughly the same time Tepper threw his drink, we can see a Carolina Panthers fan in the top row peering over the box to see what happened.

Was that fan hit with the liquid? The video has since gone viral and NFL fans across the spectrum are condemning Tepper for his uncontrolled emotions during the game.

Take a look at the moment it happened below and let us know what you think in the comments section!

According to ESPN:

The incident appeared to happen with about three minutes to play after an interception by quarterback Bryce Young, who was so frustrated after a sack early in the game that he threw a tablet on the sideline.

A Panthers spokesperson declined to comment. NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy said the league is “aware of the video” and has “no further comment at this time.”

Cedar Posts commented: “Panthers owner David Tepper tosses his drink at a Jaguars fan during today’s sobering 26-0 loss. He’s a total ass and an embarrassment to the Queen City.”

CNN provided an update following Tepper’s actions during the New Year’s Eve game:
