Police officers in Iowa have responded to a school shooting at Perry High School, where multiple wounded have been reported.
The exact number of wounded individuals is not yet known, and police claim that they know the identity of the shooter, yet have declined to release the name at this time.
According to sources, medical choppers have arrived at the scene to transport the wounded victims of the shooting.
Moreover, we are not yet sure if any of the victims have been killed due to the actions of the shooter.

CBS News provided this update from one eye-witness victim: “A student who lives 2 blocks away from Perry High School tells Ed O’keefe that he went home after having been in the cafeteria when the shooting took place and then walked back to the school to seek medical help for his bleeding back. He says it was a student who was the shooter.”

The shooting was reported at approximately 7:37 a.m. local time.
“School had not started yet, luckily, so there was very few faculty and students in the building, which I think contributed to a good outcome in that sense,” Mr. Infante said.

The first reports of an active shooter came in at 7:40 a.m local time. According to a MercyOne Hospital spokesperson, victims were being rushed to the hospital however it is currently unknown how many victims there are.”
