Yet Another Blue State DENIES 14th Amendment Ballot Challenge!

It is a wild day indeed when California has more sense than Maine, yet here we are.

California has become the latest blue state to deny the 14th Amendment challenge to President Trump appearing on the ballot in 2024.

This move follows pressure from California’s Lt. Governor Eleni Kounalakis to remove President Trump from the ballot.

Some are calling all of these efforts a mere ploy and claim that none of these lawmakers actually intends to remove the 45th President from the ballot.

Even in Colorado, where the Colorado Supreme Court ruled that President Trump did not have the right to stay on the ballot, that decision has since been reversed and the former President will remain on Colorado’s ballot.

MAGA patriots commended California on its decision to remain rational and uphold the democratic process in this country:

According to Fox News:

Secretary of State Shirley Weber certified the list of candidates Thursday night.

The decision from the Golden State came hours after Maine’s secretary of state disqualified the GOP front-runner from the ballot – a move that comes in the wake of a similar ruling from the Colorado Supreme Court.

Journalist Yashar Ali provided the corresponding documents and confirmed: “California’s Secretary of State Shirley Weber has declined requests to remove Donald Trump from the ballot. She has certified that his name will be on the March 2024 primary ballot.”

Politico previously reported:

Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis, who is running for governor in 2026, issued a letter urging California Secretary of State Shirley Weber to “explore every legal option” to remove Trump from the ballot.

Democratic state Sen. Dave Min, an Orange County congressional candidate, said he would introduce a bill letting California residents sue to block ineligible candidates.
