Biden Plans to Ease Marijuana Restrictions? The Change You Didn’t See Coming But Should’ve

Is anyone really surprised at this point?

Of all the things that this current clown adminstration could work on, this makes perfect sense.

They could focus on getting these gas prices down or deal with rising inflation and its cousin shrinkflation.

But Biden has other plans.

Currently marijuana is a Schedule I drug. And according to DEA website:

Schedule I drugs, substances, or chemicals are defined as drugs with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse. Some examples of Schedule I drugs are: heroin, LSD, marijuana…”

The Guardian stated:

Evidence suggests that Joe Biden’s administration, responding to a policy the president announced last year, is working on moving marijuana to schedule III of the Controlled Substance Act (CSA), a change from its current listing on the maximally restrictive schedule I. That would lessen the tax burden on businesses selling the drug in states where it is legal, and potentially change how police agencies view enforcement of marijuana laws.

David Culver, senior vice president of public affairs for the U.S. Cannabis Council, a trade group, said “If it’s going to be finalized at schedule III, it’s going to be the moment that the industry can turn the corner and we begin to see the growth in the cannabis space amongst the legal operators that we’ve been waiting on for so long.”

But wait, that’s not all!

He’s making a bold step to pardon thousands convicted of marijuana charges.

This couldn’t be a maniuplative move to get more votes, would it?

I think its not a stretch to say that whatever this adminstration does, there might just be an ulterior motive.

In the words of Adam West’s Batman, “What’s your game, Joker?” (I may quote that again in the future. It’s very apt.)

If they’ve proven for the last 3 years that they’d be happier if we weren’t here, then -call me crazy- I highly doubt they’re going to do anything that’s beneficial for us.

There seems to be some debate over this on Twitter, er, I mean, X, among the youth.

But whatever your stance is on the subject, it doesn’t change the fact that this shouldn’t be a top priority, especially with the state of everything right now.

And just to top it off, it would seem that those that Biden will pardon are those that Kamala Harris prosecuted.

Another day in clown world.

Honk.
