BEHOLD: God’s Trumpet Army! 🎺

Have you read your Bible? For some reason, God seems to love using TRUMPets to make announcements and to win battles.

Have you read your Bible?

If you have, have you noticed that God seems to have a certain fascination with Trumpets?

For some reason, he seems to love using TRUMPets to make announcements and to win battles.

Here are a few Bible verses that mention trumpets and battle:

  1. Numbers 10:9 – “When you go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, that you may be remembered before the Lord your God, and be saved from your enemies.”
  2. Joshua 6:4-5 – “And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. And it shall be, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat.”
  3. Psalm 47:5 – “God has gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.”
  4. Isaiah 27:13 – “And it shall come to pass in that day that a great trumpet will be blown, and those who were ready to perish in the land of Assyria and those who were outcasts in the land of Egypt will come, and they will worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.”
  5. Joel 2:1 – “Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming; it is at hand.”
  6. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 – “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.”
  7. Zechariah 9:14 – “Then the Lord will appear over them, and His arrow will go forth like lightning. The Lord God will blow the trumpet, and go with whirlwinds from the south.”
  8. Revelation 8:2 – “Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.”
  9. Revelation 8:6 – “So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.”
  10. Revelation 11:15 – “Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, ‘The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!'”
  11. Revelation 16:18 – “And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth.”
  12. Revelation 19:14 – “And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.”
  13. Revelation 20:4 – “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.”
