Newt Gingrich Issues Dire Warning To America

Quick disclosure, I don’t even like Newt Gingrich. I think he’s a neocon clown, but he is right on the money with this point.

The recent decision from Colorado’s Supreme Court is an absolute disaster for America and the future of America—it doesn’t matter if the decision is reversed.

Yes, we would all love to see the decision be reversed, but the damage has already been done, the precedent forever set.

If President Trump retakes the Oval Office in 2024, we will have four more years of Trump, but then what happens next?

Colorado’s Supreme Court ruling has pretty much ensured that individual states will now use lawfare, dubious 14th Amendment challenges, and other similar mechanisms to prevent future candidates from being on the ballot.

This will become normalized and commonplace, with the young people never knowing what it meant for this type of behavior to be considered an aberration.

I have long warned of the same thing. The weapons one uses today against their enemies will be used against them tomorrow—this holds true for all groups of people and factions.

We complain about the deep surveillance state that currently plagues us—this was an invention of Bush-era Republicans, including Gingrich, to fight some fraudulent military-industrial ‘War on Terror.’

Today, that very same intelligence surveillance state has been turned against Republicans by Democrats wielding this deep state mechanism. See how that works? Gingrich recently told Laura Ingraham of Fox News:

The former politician and pundit stated: “Colorado is on the verge of becoming the new Venezuela. Four lawyers have decided that their views outweigh the 1, 364,607 Coloradans who voted for Donald Trump in 2020.

Keeping a political opponent from even running is the behavior of a dictatorship not a democracy. Coloradans should demand these four partisan destroyers of democracy be removed from office.

There were 341,000 Colorado voters for Trump for each self appointed freedom killer. They should not be allowed to pretend they are judges. They replace the rule of law with the rule of power. Welcome to Venezuela or Cuba or Nicaragua.”

The Hill quoted Gingrich:

“The American people are not going to tolerate being told that they’re not allowed to have a choice for who they want to have as president,” he said.

“This is not Venezuela. It’s not Nicaragua. It’s not Cuba.”

“And I think the Democrats are dangerously close to causing the kind of confrontation that would be truly disastrous for the country,” he added.

Even President Trump’s competition, RFK Jr., is speaking out against the Colorado Supreme Court decision:

“Colorado Supreme Court ruling makes America look like a Banana Republic. Why doesn’t every American understand that If they can do this to a former US President, EVERYONE is vulnerable to punishment for crimes with which they have never been convicted. Democracy would be a total shambles.”

Gingrich also told Fox News:

“I think you can’t understand Joe Biden without looking at his eight years as Barack Obama’s vice president.

Obama is arguably the most radical person ever to be president, protected by the news media.
