Democrats are about to have a rude awakening. What is that saying about collapses? At first, they happen gradually, and then suddenly everything goes off of a cliff.
Long-term demographic trends do not bode well for Democrats and Democrat-run strongholds that continue to hemorrhage population.
Skyrocketing costs of living, high crime, extremely restrictive laws, insane crowding, and living among a sea of NIMBY Karens are all reasons people are clamoring to get out of the blue states.
I have shared my story many times, my family and I are some of these people. Originally from New York, we departed the state for many of the reasons above; since our departure, things have only gotten worse in the Big Apple.
By the time the 2030 census rolls around California, New York, Illinois, Oregon, Pennsylvania and others will continue to lose electoral seats due to declining population trends.
At the same time, conservative states like Texas, Florida, Tennessee, and Arizona will gain seats. Take a look:

With #Pennsylvania so far expected to lose a seat in the 2030 census, here's how the map could look like assuming it's court drawn again. Like in 2020, GOP might lose a seat but Democrats would be diluted especially in PA-08 which might become too red for comfort. pic.twitter.com/SHFVfkuidI

According to Fox News:
Texas experienced the largest numeric population growth of all 50 states and the District of Columbia, according to the data.
The Texas population grew from 30,029,848 on July 1, 2022, to 30,503,301 on the same day in 2023.
Florida was directly behind Texas in second place, experiencing a growth from 22,245,521 in 2022 to 22,610,726 in 2023.
Sean Wilson provided an alternative perspective: “Republicans know shipping illegal aliens to Democrat-run States benefits Dems when the 2030 Census and Congressional apportionment come down the pipe–unless they’re deported prior, or a conservative led Dept. of Commerce can justify asking citizenship question–right?”

“They’re not even trying to pretend anymore–Democrats are dispossessing Americans of their republic and flooding the country prior to the 2030 census and Congressional apportionment, and making you pay for it all,” he continued.

Politico explained:
But not all growth is created equal. The South — 16 states and D.C. that stretch from Delaware to Texas — added over 1.4 million people in the last year.
ADVERTISEMENTRoughly half of that new population came not from international immigration or new births, but from “domestic migration” — people moving from other parts of the country to the South.
All told, the South has grown by 1.1 percent since 2022. The West and the Midwest both ticked up 0.2 percent, while the Northeast saw a small decline of 0.1 percent in total population.
