SILVER LINING: Trump Campaign Scores Legal Victory!

Following the insane ruling from Colorado’s Supreme Court, many of us thought the rule of law was no more.

Up to that point, all of the ridiculous 14th Amendment challenges against President Trump failed, and I expected all of them to fail.

Well, fear not my friends. It seems there is still justice in this country and sober minds in our judicial system who respect the rule of law.

The Trump campaign just won a resounding legal victory in West Virginia, where the 14th Amendment challenge against the Trump campaign was dismissed by U.S. District Judge Irene C. Berger.

Following the victory, the Trump campaign released this statement:

Simon Ateba writes: “Unlike in Colorado, U.S. District Judge Irene C. Berger has dismissed a lawsuit aiming to keep Donald Trump off the West Virginia ballot.

Judge Berger deemed the lawsuit to be frivolous and without merit because it was filed by Texas resident and write-in candidate John Anthony Castro.

Castro claimed without any conviction or charge that Trump incited an insurrection and should quickly be disqualified based on section 3 of the 14th Amendment.

In a memorandum opinion last night, Judge Berger ordered the case to be dismissed without prejudice, meaning Castro could possibly refile it during candidate filing period.”

Just The News provided this statement from Judge Berger:

“Castro’s complaint relies on supposition and speculation that if Mr. Trump were removed from the ballot, that his voters and contributors would default to other candidates including Mr. Castro,” Berger continued.

“But he supplies no specifics to support the conclusion that Trump voters would become Castro voters if his suit was successful.”

MAGA patriots celebrated the legal victory in the latest battle in the ongoing 14th Amendment lawfare currently raging across America.

More of Berger’s ruling was presented by Daily Caller:

“The evidence establishes that [Castro] has no campaign offices, staff, or advertising in West Virginia, does not appear in polling, has little name recognition among West Virginia Republican primary voters, and has extremely minimal campaign funds, vastly insufficient to run an actual campaign.”
