While House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) has been a frequent guest on Fox News recently as he leads the charge to impeach President Joe Biden, there’s one show on which he refused to attend … and it’s all because of the attitude of one co-host.
He discussed the matter during a Newsmax TV interview with host Eric Bolling, who played a clip of “Fox & Friends” co-host Steve Doocy claiming that House Republicans don’t have the evidence necessary to pursue impeachment.
The Hill reported:
House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) blasted Steve Doocy, a longtime host of “Fox and Friends,” over his commentary on House Republicans’ investigation of the Biden family and efforts to mount an impeachment inquiry against President Biden.
“He’s had that position from the very beginning. I’ve quit going on ‘Fox and Friends’ because of Doocy, you know? I mean, he’s the one guy on Fox that’s been very critical of the investigation,” Comer said Tuesday during an appearance on Newsmax. “I have my theory why, and we’ll talk about that at a later point. But at the end of the day, he’s entitled to his opinion, but I don’t think the average viewer of Fox News agrees with Doocy one bit.”
Of course, there was a trove of evidence linking Biden to his son’s shady business deals even before Wednesday’s vote to formally launch an impeachment inquiry.
The evidence mounting against President Biden cannot be ignored.

Democrats cry that we have no evidence to impeach Biden. That's simply untrue.

Comer offered some additional thoughts after House Republicans voted to continue with the impeachment process.
According to USA Today:
House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer, R-Ky., told reporters Wednesday that House Republicans’ unanimous vote formalizing the impeachment inquiry“shows we’re united.”
“We expect to have people honor our subpoenas. We want to wrap this investigation up.” Comer said in a news conference alongside House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and House Ways and Means Committee Chair Jason Smith, R-Mo.
It’s not clear when Republicans hope to wrap up their investigation into the president. But a senior House Republican aide said they hope to finish it “expeditiously” and come to a decision about whether to draft articles of impeachment against Biden.
