DEVELOPING: Contempt Of Congress Hearing AGAINST Hunter Biden Announced!

Things are escalating in the Hunter Biden federal probe, as the son of Joe Biden refused to comply with a Congressional subpoena on Wednesday.

The 53-year-old declined to provide a private deposition to the House Oversight Committee, choosing instead to give an emergency press conference and offering to testify publicly.

In response to this, Reps. James Comer and Jim Jordan have started official contempt of Congress hearings against Hunter Biden.

It remains to be seen if Hunter caves to the pressure and complies with the Congressional investigators or if he will continue to avert the watchful eye of Congress.

The House Oversight Committee announced on Wednesday: “Hunter Biden defied a lawful subpoena today, and we will now initiate contempt of Congress proceedings. There will be no special treatment because his last name is Biden. Joe Biden & his family must be held accountable for their corruption.”

Fox News provided this statement from Hunter Biden’s ’emergency’ press conference:

“They belittled my recovery, and they have tried to dehumanize me, all to embarrass my father, who has devoted his entire life to public service.

For six years I have been a target of the unrelenting Trump attack team. ‘Where’s Hunter?’ Well, here’s my answer. I am here.”

I believe Hunter Biden should be held in contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena from the House Oversight Committee, but it’s clear the corrupt White House and corrupt DOJ will protect their own from prosecution while shamelessly targeting their political enemies.

Matthew Graves, the DC Attorney who prosecuted Navarro and Bannon, worked on the presidential campaigns for Joe Biden and other Democrats. I doubt we’ll be seeing the same indictments against Hunter.

GOP lawmakers have been threatening Biden with contempt for some time now, according to The Associated Press:

Hunter Biden has insisted that he will only testify to the House if it’s in public.

But in a letter sent to his attorney Wednesday, top Republicans told him that their subpoena for a closed-door deposition on Dec. 13 is non-negotiable.
