RAMASWAMY: January 6th Looks Like An “Inside Job”

Tonight’s debate had some heated moments, that’s for sure.

At one point, Vivek Ramaswamy called out the other 3 candidates over their hypocrisy for criticizing President Trump when they were all too happy to receive his endorsements and money in the past.

Vivek told it like it was, noting that the “real enemy is not Donald Trump” or Joe Biden. It’s “the deep state that at least Donald Trump attempted to take on.”

And Vivek didn’t stop there. He went on to ask a hard-hitting question:

“Why am I the only person on this stage at least to say that January 6th now does look like it was an inside job?”

Watch the moment for yourself here:

And here’s a full transcript of what Ramaswamy had to say:

Three of my other colleagues on this debate stage is all three of them licking Donald Trump’s boots for years, for money and endorsements. Ron DeSantis, you’ve been a great governor, but you would never be one. And that is for Nikki Haley. The same thing for Chris Christie as a lobbyist, begging them for COVID money for a special interest in New Jersey. Prepping him for the debates the last time around. These people are now quarterbacking some decisions he made.

I think the real enemy is not Donald Trump. it’s not even Joe Biden. It’s the deep state that at least Donald Trump attempted to take on. If you want somebody who will speak truth to power, then vote for somebody who is going to speak the truth to you. Why am I the only person on this stage at least to say that January 6th now does look like it was an inside job? That the government lied to us for 20 years about Saudi Arabia’s involvement in 9/11, that the great replacement theory is not some grant right-wing conspiracy theory, but a basic statement of the Democratic party’s platform, that the 2020 election was, indeed, stolen by Big Tech. That the 2016 election, the one that Trump won for sure was also one that was stolen from him by the national security establishment that actually put up the Trump collusion oath that was false.

Left-wing media has been quick to condemn Ramaswamy for pushing “conspiracy theories” during the debate. Here’s what NBC News had to say:

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy voiced support for a variety of far-right conspiracy theories at the fourth GOP debate on Wednesday, suggesting at one point that the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol was an “inside job.”

“Why am I the only person on this stage, at least, who can say that January 6 now does look like it was an inside job?” Ramaswamy said, before listing other topics popular in conspiracy circles.

“That the government lied to us for 20 years about Saudi Arabia’s involvement in 9/11? That the great replacement theory is not some grand right wing conspiracy theory, but a basic statement of the Democratic Party’s platform? That the 2020 election was indeed stolen by big tech?”

The New York Times had the following take:

Vivek Ramaswamy’s defense of Donald J. Trump at Wednesday’s debate quickly devolved into a laundry list of far-right conspiracy theories.

After attacking his opponents for turning on Mr. Trump after supporting him, Mr. Ramaswamy took aim at “the deep state” as the real enemy of the American people.

That amorphous entity, Mr. Ramaswamy claimed, clearly had a role in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol.

“Why am I the only person, on this stage at least, who can say that Jan. 6 now does look like it was an inside job?” Mr. Ramaswamy said. (Dozens of criminal indictments and bipartisan congressional investigations rebut Mr. Ramaswamy’s argument.)

Let us know what you think.

Did Vivek Ramaswamy earn your respect tonight?
