What would you think if the next GOP debate was hosted by Tucker Carlson?
Well, that’s exactly what presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy is pitching.
Whether or not you support Vivek, you’ve gotta admit, this is an interesting idea.
I don’t know about you, but I kind of love it.
Why?
Because Tucker Carlson truly speaks for the people.
He has no filter.
He tells it how it is.
He’s not going to ask boring, scripted questions that result in canned, scripted responses.
He’s going to go for the issues people really want to hear about.
I mean, that’s what I think, at least.
Don’t you agree?

Would be a vast improvement. https://t.co/K8MMF0z6dQ

But here’s the best part:
A debate hosted by Tucker Carlson would get more views than any debates on the mainstream media.
Don’t forget that Tucker Carlson’s Twitter show premiered to over 90 million views in as little as 24 hours.
Those are Super Bowl sized numbers!
The Hill has more details on the idea of a Carlson-hosted GOP debate:
Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy said X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, should host a January debate with a moderator akin to former Fox News host Tucker Carlson Friday.
“If there’s a January GOP debate, it should be hosted on X, not on cable TV, moderated by someone like @TuckerCarlson who might just ask questions that primary voters actually care about,” Ramaswamy wrote on X. “The [Republican National Committee] says they want to reach younger voters & new audiences? Well, that’s how you do it.”
Ramaswamy’s Friday post seems to mirror his recent criticisms of Republican party leadership. The 2024 GOP presidential candidate has been confrontational with Republican National Committee (RNC) chair Ronna McDaniel, calling her out in the most recent GOP presidential primary debate on stage.
“We’ve become a party of losers at the end of the day,” Ramaswamy said. “Since Ronna McDaniel took over as chairwoman of the RNC in 2017, we have lost 2018, 2020, 2022, no red wave, that never came. We got trounced last night in 2023,” he added.
He then offered for the RNC chair to “come on stage” to announce her resignation.
Here’s the best part:
It would finally give President Trump a reason to participate in the debates.
Trump knows that Carlson asks questions on the topics that matters.
And he knows that Carlson would give him a fair shake, unlike the mainstream “moderators.”
If there’s a January GOP debate, it should be hosted on X, not on cable TV, moderated by a someone like @TuckerCarlson who might just ask questions that primary voters actually care about. The RNC says they want to reach younger voters & new audiences? Well, that’s how you do it.

Either the GOP debates are pointless and it’s time to get behind Trump, or the GOP debates are important and should be on X with Tucker Carlson moderating. It can’t really be both.

Of course, the mainstream media doesn’t want to report this.
They’re trying to keep whatever small viewership they have to themselves.
Fortunately, our friends at the Post Millennials have more analysis:
In his debate opening remarks, the White House hopeful called out the RNC viewership ratings and argued that if they had moderators such as Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk, and Joe Rogan then there would be “ten times the viewership.”
I bet Tucker Carlson would have 10 times the viewership of Joe Rogan.
Don’t you?
What’s the RNC doing?
If they don’t accept this proposal, they are out of their minds.
