Folks, have you heard any conservative or Republican talk about the death of Joe Biden?
Of course not!
You hear people talk about Joe’s age, sure.
But that’s really about his mental acuity and his mental health.
No one is talking about the possibility of Joe Biden.
If they do, it’s in the vein of “OMG – then we would have KAMALA HARRIS!”
It’s just in jest… but it is the truth.
Well, one leftist mainstream outlet has been accused of attempting to normalize “the death of Trump.”
The perpetrator:
Business Insider.
Fortunately, critics are slamming the publication for its alarming editorial standards:

As the MSM perpetuates this narrative, someone is going to take a shot at the man. When that happens, the next Civil War is going to start. Which side will you take?

Here’s how you know there’s a double standard:
Despite Joe Biden being older than President Trump, the media isn’t writing these kinds of stories about Joe.
The question people do ask about Joe is, “Is he too old?”
Yet, Business Insider ran a “what if” piece.
Per the Epoch Times:
Media outlet Business Insider was criticized over the weekend after publishing an article that offered speculation regarding what would happen “if Donald Trump dies while running in the 2024 election.”
In an article published Saturday, the outlet, also known as Insider, listed several different scenarios that would occur if the former president passed away before the GOP primary, during the primary, or between the primary and the general election. Former President Trump, 77, is by far the leading GOP presidential candidate, besting the No. 2 and No. 3 candidates by more than 45 percentage points, respectively.

After Insider published the speculative article regarding President Trump’s death during the primary, some conservative commentators offered criticism. Some also claimed it’s part of an attempt to normalize President Trump’s death, suggesting a nefarious plot could be carried out.
“First, Levi Strauss heir Rep. Dan Goldman says Trump must be ‘eliminated,’ and now Business Insider is openly asking: What would happen if Donald Trump ‘dies while seeking reelection’ in 2024?” wrote commentator Charlie Kirk on X. “Don’t put anything past these people.”

In 2017, Rep. Scalise (R-La.) was shot during a practice session for the Congressional Baseball Game in Virginia. A 66-year-old self-described Bernie Sanders supporter, James Hodgkinson, was identified as the shooting suspect before he was killed by officers in a shootout.

This is true.
Political violence is always committed against the Right.
When was the last time you heard of a Democrat getting stabbed?
Getting shot?
What about getting attacked outside of their home?
What about being heckled in public?
What about being kicked out of a restaurant?
Yet, this kind of stuff happens to Republicans.
Folks, do you remember the radical play that glorified the fictitious assassination of President Trump?
It was disgusting!
But it’s a radical ideology that is trying to normalize his death.
And that could result in real life consequences.

No one should wish for the death of their political opponents.
We’re all Americans, after all.
The fact that a publication would try to normalize this is disgusting.
It will be a condemnation of our culture if there isn’t swift and fierce pushback against this.
The Post Millennial provides some excellent analysis:
Human Events senior editor Jack Posobiec responded to a post of the article, that in his conversation on Wednesday with the director of Big Data Poll, Richard Baris, it was “pointed out the media has begun normalizing the death of Trump again. Now this.”
Responding to Posobiec, Baris said, “I think it’s pretty clear what message they’re sending when they speculate about the death of a candidate they claim is ‘worse than Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, etc. combined’.” He noted, “The last time they did this, a lefty nutcase decided it was heroic to shoot Steve Scalise and 4 others.”
I don’t know about you, but I think Posobiec makes an excellent point here.
If you think someone is on the same level as the most evil people in history, you could see how a person would attempt to take that someone out.
Unfortunately, the left has called Trump “Hitler.”
They have called him a “fascist.”
A “dictator.”
Don’t you think this kind of rhetoric is dangerous?
Words have consequences.
We must make sure that our culture doesn’t normalize this kind of “morality.”
