President Trump Tells Argentinian President Javier Milei To Hold On, He’s Coming!

President Trump recently told Argentina’s President-Elect Javier Milei that he would be visiting him soon!

No date has yet been set, though Milei will be sworn in on December 1o, 2023. Many parallels have been drawn between Javier Milei and President Trump, though the two are actually very different in terms of policy.

President Trump is not libertarian (though I wish he was!), yet the ties between conservatives and libertarians run deep and are often blurred.

Thomas Massie, the legendary Dr. Ron Paul, Rand Paul, and Justin Amash are all notable libertarians. Each ran within the confines of the GOP.

However, where President Trump and Milei do share similarities is in their vociferous opposition to the current political establishment in their respective countries.

Trump fights the deep state bureaucracy that has a chokehold over the country—a noble and necessary fight. Milei fights to bring the entire system of centralized banking and central planning down. Here’s what everyone is saying:

The Associated Press broke the story:

“The president-elect received a call last night from the former president of the United States, Donald Trump, who congratulated him and pointed out his triumph by a wide margin in last Sunday’s election had a great impact on a global scale,” a news release from Milei’s office said.

Trump celebrated Milei’s victory with a social media post of his own on Tuesday.

“I am very proud of you. You will turn your country around and truly make Argentina great again,” Trump said in a video published on social media Tuesday.

Tara Bull explained: “Since Javier Milei was elected, Argentina’s sovereign bonds have began soaring, Country Risk has fallen, and Amazon, Tesla and Starlink report that they could arrive in Argentina by 2024. Should more countries elect ‘Trump-like’ candidates?”

According to PBS News:

Milei has often been compared to Trump, whom he praised in an interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson earlier this year.

During the interview, Milei called on Trump to “continue with his fight against socialism, because he’s one of the few who fully understood that the battle is against socialism, that the battle is against the statists.”
