Professional sports have taken a big hit over the last several years.
Many fans believe that competition has become soft, and rule changes have made the games seem more like youth league games.
Meanwhile, the big three (NBA, NFL, and MLB) have catered to progressive culture and ‘woke’ politics.
The cherry on top occurred last night during an NBA game between the home team San Antonio Spurs and the LA Clippers.
Former Spurs player Kawhi Leonard was getting booed all night by the San Antonio crowd.
Spurs head coach coach Greg Popovich apparently took exception and grabbed the microphone halfway through the game to scold the crowd for booing…
“Excuse me for a second,” Popovich said after Leonard shot a free throw.
“Can we stop all the booing and let these guys play? It’s got no class, it’s not who we are. Knock off the booing.”
The fans responded by booing even louder.
So, apparently booing isn’t okay in sports anymore because I guess it’s ‘mean…’
The NBA has officially become a league for Kindergarteners.

Fox News reported on this embarrassing moment for the NBA:
Spurs fans were booing Kawhi Leonard every time he touched the basketball as the Spurs took on the Los Angeles Clippers. Leonard spent the first seven years of his career with San Antonio, helping them win a Larry O’Brien trophy in the NBA Finals in 2014.
However, Leonard’s tenure with the squad did not end harmoniously, as he requested a trade from the team.
Because of that, Spurs fans were booing him, and Popovich set the record straight.
“Excuse me for a second,” he said on the microphone. “Can we stop all the booing and let these guys play? It’s got no class, it’s not who we are. Knock off the booing.”
Here is the moment that coach Popovich made the NBA an absolute joke:
Oh my goodness.
Greg Popovich just got on the mic in San Antonio to tell the fans to stop booing Kawhi.
The crowd booed even louder for the second free throw. 😭

This was most definitely a dagger to the heart of athletic competition.
Sports have never been so soft.

I love Pop, but this idiotic. He has got to stop lecturing. Without fans there is no sports. He should be happy fans show up to watch the awful Spurs. They pay for entry. They can boo all they want. pic.twitter.com/he6qEwXYYI

After the Spurs 10th straight loss, Greg Popovich personally delivered Kawhi Leonard and his teammates thanksgiving dinner to apologize for fans booing them throughout the game.

So Pop stands up, takes over the arena mic, & tells the crowd to stop booing because it's classless. Crowd boos even louder @spurs game. Maybe put a competitive team on the floor first? Just saying. SA is tired of Pop & losing. Time to move on from him.
