The End Of Pro Sports? NBA Coach Grabs Mic Mid-Game and Scolds Fans For Booing…

Professional sports have taken a big hit over the last several years.

Many fans believe that competition has become soft, and rule changes have made the games seem more like youth league games.

Meanwhile, the big three (NBA, NFL, and MLB) have catered to progressive culture and ‘woke’ politics.

The cherry on top occurred last night during an NBA game between the home team San Antonio Spurs and the LA Clippers.

Former Spurs player Kawhi Leonard was getting booed all night by the San Antonio crowd.

Spurs head coach coach Greg Popovich apparently took exception and grabbed the microphone halfway through the game to scold the crowd for booing…

“Excuse me for a second,” Popovich said after Leonard shot a free throw.

“Can we stop all the booing and let these guys play? It’s got no class, it’s not who we are. Knock off the booing.”

The fans responded by booing even louder.

So, apparently booing isn’t okay in sports anymore because I guess it’s ‘mean…’

The NBA has officially become a league for Kindergarteners.

Fox News reported on this embarrassing moment for the NBA:

Spurs fans were booing Kawhi Leonard every time he touched the basketball as the Spurs took on the Los Angeles Clippers. Leonard spent the first seven years of his career with San Antonio, helping them win a Larry O’Brien trophy in the NBA Finals in 2014.

However, Leonard’s tenure with the squad did not end harmoniously, as he requested a trade from the team.

Because of that, Spurs fans were booing him, and Popovich set the record straight.

“Excuse me for a second,” he said on the microphone. “Can we stop all the booing and let these guys play? It’s got no class, it’s not who we are. Knock off the booing.”

Here is the moment that coach Popovich made the NBA an absolute joke:

This was Popovich’s response after the fact:

This was most definitely a dagger to the heart of athletic competition.
