New Poll Shows Trump Opening Up Huge Lead Over DeSantis… In FLORIDA!

Florida governor Ron DeSantis should never have declared for the 2024 presidential election.

There are many who believe DeSantis is simply a RINO, but even putting that aside, one thing is painfully clear.

He just wasn’t ready for this…

Watching the Florida governor continually come up short in debates, as well as constantly gaffing during public events, has only confirmed the fact that he wasn’t ready.

Still, one would assume that DeSantis would still have Florida on his side, right?…

Not according to a new poll.

According to the poll, President Donald Trump has a 39 point lead over DeSantis in Florida!

Daily Mail broke the news:

Donald Trump is now 39 points ahead of his rival Ron DeSantis in Florida, a new poll has revealed, in yet more bad news for the struggling state governor.

Trump, 77, won 60 percent of support among registered Republicans polled by the University of North Florida, while DeSantis could only claim 21 percent.

Nikki Haley, Trump’s former UN ambassador, came in third with six percent, while Chris Christie, the former governor of New Jersey, won two percent.

Vivek Ramaswamy, the millionaire entrepreneur and political newcomer whose star has burned brightly but now seems to be fading, won one percent.

The pollsters surveyed 788 people between October 23 and November 4.

This hurts the DeSantis campaign..:

The Hill chimed in with more on the struggles of team DeSantis:

DeSantis has struggled in Florida, losing key endorsements to Trump despite his strong hold over the state’s politics. A majority of Florida’s congressional delegation have supported Trump, including Sen. Rick Scott (R), who made his Trump endorsement clear last week.

“I am optimistic that we can return America to its rightful position of economic and military strength and the undisputed moral leader of the free world, but only with strong leadership in the White House,” Scott said in a Newsweek op-ed last week.

“That is why I support my friend President Donald J. Trump to be the 47th President of the United States and encourage every Republican to unite behind his efforts to win back the White House,” he added.
