Anti-communist China protestors lined the streets in San Fransisco and protested against the arrival of China’s President Xi Jinping.
Anti-communist protestors however were outnumbered by Chinese nationals who were in San Fransisco to show their support towards Xi Jinping.
According to NBC News reporter John Zuchelli, a fight broke out between the two separate groups outside of the Hyatt Regency hotel in San Francisco.
The clash began as Biden and Xi Jinping were meeting about 25 miles away in Woodside, California.

Protests are continuing in San Francisco as the APEC summit ramps up with the arrival of Presidents Joe Biden and Xi Jinping, along with other large events.
After hundreds marched down Market Street Tuesday, demanding an immediate cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war, more protesters from multiple groups gathered Wednesday morning.
More protests are expected throughout the day and the rest of the week.
A number of organizations protested the start of the APEC CEO summit Wednesday morning, attempting to shut it down.
The group met near the 5th Street BART station and marched to 5th Street and Mission, where hundreds were lining the streets near the Moscone Center.
The protesters were attempting to block APEC attendees from entering the event.
Protesters were locking arms and chanting “No to APEC.” City crews were also turning traffic around at the area.

As the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting entered its fifth day, protesters took to the streets across San Francisco, resulting in Muni being rerouted. To the south, there are also protests near the planned location for Wednesday’s meeting between President Joe Biden and Chinese Leader Xi Jinping. With widespread street closures in effect, including two lanes shut down on the Bay Bridge, San Francisco has been transformed by the conference, which is expected to draw 20,000 people and 22 world leaders to the city.
