As more within the Republican party continue to demand the resignation of RNC chairwoman Ronna Romney, a shocking story resurfaces.
Back in October, it was revealed that the Virginia GOP Chairman Rich Anderson requested more funds from the RNC to help support the Virginia campaigns.
What did the RNC do?
They did nothing; they refused to give more money.
VAGOP Chairman Rich Anderson said, “I believe we have the resources required to win.”
Well, forward to today, and you must know now that they did NOT have enough resources to win.
Had the RNC given more funding to the campaign, we could have seen Republicans hold onto Virginia.
VAGOP Chairman Rich Anderson says no direct cash from RNC in VA won't doom R candidates. “I believe we have the resources required to win,” he told NR, citing the stunning $15.5 million that Youngkin's PAC, Spirit of Virginia, has raked in since March. https://t.co/LKwFqaPY5k

The National Review wrote more on the story back in October:
Virginia Republican Party chairman Rich Anderson met in person with senior RNC staffers in D.C. on Monday to request that the party pour money into the state to help Governor Glenn Youngkin maintain the party’s narrow grip on the house of delegates and flip the state senate, a source familiar with the matter told NR. But senior staffers at the RNC denied Anderson’s request.
The RNC staffers reminded Anderson of a separate meeting earlier this summer, when Dave Rexrode — who heads Youngkin’s political-action committee, Spirit of Virginia — reportedly told senior RNC officials that, at that point, the national party did not need to spend money in Virginia.
That summer meeting — on top of the national party’s need to prioritize fundraising for federal races and an expensive presidential election cycle in 2024 — affected how the RNC budgeted for the rest of the year, the source said.
But, privately, some Virginia-based GOP operatives worry about the optics of RNC’s decision not to spend heavily in Virginia, especially after President Joe Biden ordered the Democratic National Committee back in September to pour more than $1 million into the state on behalf of Democratic state legislative candidates.
When are Republicans going to get tired of losing?
Why did the RNC disallow more funding into Virginia even after the DNC funneled millions into the election?
It reeks of sabotage by our party.
Did you know that the VAGOP Chairman Rich Anderson requested $ from the RNC?
The RNC denied his request.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden ordered the DNC in September to pour $1 million into VA.
Republicans lost the House & Senate by 2,400 & 1,900 votes, respectively.

Democrats have mobilized their voting force ever since President Trump won in 2016.
After the 2020 elections, stolen or not, why have the Republicans sat around and done nothing?
We NEED to motivate our voters to get out there and vote.
Too many Republicans have blamed the 2020 election on fraud for too long.
I’m not saying it wasn’t stolen.
But the RNC continues to use that narrative as an excuse to sit around and do nothing.
We need a change of leadership, and we needed it yesterday.
