The Result Of The Mississippi Governor’s Race Is In—See It Here

The result of the Mississippi Governor’s race is officially in.

Incumbent Republican Governor Tate Reeves managed to defend his post from challenger Brandon Presley, who is, oddly enough, Elvis Presley’s cousin.

Reeves was widely endorsed by MAGA Republicans and President Trump in the lead-up to the race. Just The News presented this statement from Reeves following his victory:

“Thank you to President Trump for this great endorsement. His work to make America great again led our nation to record economic growth, lower taxes, a stronger position on the world stage, and a safer country.

I’m proud of the work we’ve done to champion those same conservative policies and pro-America agenda in Mississippi.”

The MAGA community celebrated Reeves’ victory over Presley in these posts made to the X social media platform:

The New York Post provided the election numbers:

Reeves, first elected in 2019 after serving two terms as Mississippi’s lieutenant governor, had received 52.3% of the vote compared to state utility regulator Brandon Presley’s 45.8% when Presley called Reeves to concede the race.
