Jim Jordan took to X yesterday to expose new information that outlines how different government agencies worked together with universities and Big Tech to censor American speech online.
The reports show that the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) reviewed speech online that they deemed to be misinformation and sent the reports to Big Tech with recommendations on how to censure.
Read Jim Jordan’s Tweets on the matter:
The federal government, disinformation “experts” at universities, Big Tech, and others worked together through the Election Integrity Partnership to monitor & censor Americans’ speech.

Here’s how it worked:
-EIP “stakeholders” (including the federal gov’t) would submit misinformation reports
-EIP would “analyze” the report and find similar content across platforms
-EIP would submit the report to Big Tech, often with a recommendation on how to censor

Fox News shares more on the story:
According to the report, which Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, highlighted in a post to X, the communications showed how “the federal government and universities pressured social media companies to censor true information, jokes, and political opinions.”
“This pressure was largely directed in a way that benefitted one side of the political aisle: true information posted by Republicans and conservatives was labeled as ‘misinformation’ while false information posted by Democrats and liberals was largely unreported and untouched by the censors,” the report noted. “The pseudoscience of disinformation is now – and has always been – nothing more than a political ruse most frequently targeted at communities and individuals holding views contrary to the prevailing narratives.”
ADVERTISEMENTAlong with countless Americans, certain right-leaning media outlets, and conservative commentators whose views were censored, the report also noted that prominent figures like then-President Donald Trump, North Carolina GOP Sen. Thom Tillis, Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Kentucky GOP Rep. Thomas Massie had their social media postings marked as “misinformation.”
Other posts from former politicians, including former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, were also flagged by the groups as “misinformation,” according to the report.
This is an insane report.
We all knew that the government and tech companies censored free speech online.
Now, we have the evidence to back our claims.
Back in 2016 and the following year, liberals and Democrats would call Republicans conspiracy theorists for suggesting something like this.
Now we are being vindicated, and a story like this will likely be swept under the rug by prominent media outlets, seeing as many of them are left-leaning.
Later in the thread, Jim Jordan highlights who specifically was targeted:
And it didn’t stop there, here are some more accounts that were targeted:@NEWSMAX@michellemalkin@seanmdav@RubinReport@paulsperry_@tracybeanz@ChanelRion @JamesOKeefeIII

Who would have guessed that President Trump was being targeted?
These maniacs have actively sought to undermine the integrity of our nation by restricting our free speech.
Actions like this are something you would see in a Communist country.
Why did we engage in the Cold War against the USSR if our country fell into the same practices that we were against?
It’s all disheartening.
I HOPE that Republicans in office do something about this rather than releasing this to the public and not doing anything, like usual.
Many right-leaning X accounts and news sites have been speaking out about this.
Tom Fitton on X implies they might file a lawsuit against the government:
More disturbing confirmation that I (and @JudicialWatch) were the target of unprecedented and unconstitutional censorship about election integrity issues by the gov't. Our lawyers will review this information carefully. We've already sued for related censorship… https://t.co/r3ed9Qy4nF
