Disgraced Trump Attorney Slams Sons’ Testimonies

Michael Cohen, the former attorney for President Trump, who testified against his former boss in his New York civil fraud case, slammed the former president’s sons’ testimony in the case.

During an interview with MSNBC’s Ali Velshi, Cohen said he believes both Trump children lied under oath and are “emulating their father.”

“I mean, the guy lies the way you breathe, and the kids are doing the same thing,” Cohen said about the former president and his sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump. “How stupid do they have to be?”

In back-to-back testimonies on Thursday, the Trump children denied any involvement in their father’s financial statements and tried to distance themselves from Trump Organization financial statements that are key to the attorney general’s case against the family business.

Donald Jr. and Eric Trump both denied involvement in their testimonies.

Cohen said he thinks the sons got zero legal preparation ahead of the testimonies, and questioned if they thought the trial was “some sort of joke.”

Trump has repeatedly called Cohen a liar and said his former lawyer is only testifying against him to get a better deal for himself.

Trump just claimed that Michael Cohen is trying to get a better deal for himself by testifying against Trump.

Specifically Trump said:

President Trump has asked Judge Engoron to dismiss the case because Cohen admitted to lying under oath.

"We got him to admit under oath in an open court that he lied twice, and it shouldn't be surprising at this point."

Cohen denied the former president’s claims and called him delusional.
