Billionaire Vows To Stop Donations To University – “Sh** For Brains”

Hedge fund investor and billionaire Leon Cooperman has vowed to stop donating to Columbia University after an influx of pro-Palestine protests on the campus.

Leon Cooperman claims to have donated over $50 million over “many years.”

Now, due to a rise of anti-Israel sentiment spreading, the billionaire wishes to donate elsewhere.

Fox Business has more on the story:

Columbia University graduate, billionaire investor and Omega Advisors CEO Leon Cooperman had harsh words for Ivy League students who are sharing anti-Israel sentiment on campus.

“These kids at the colleges have sh– for brains,” Cooperman told “The Claman Countdown” host Liz Claman on Wednesday. “We have one reliable ally in the Middle East. That’s Israel. We only have one democracy in the Middle East. That’s Israel. And we have one economy tolerant of different people, gays, lesbians, etc. That’s Israel. So they have no idea what these young kids are doing.”

“Now, the real shame is, I’ve given to Columbia probably about $50 million over many years,” he continued. “And I’m going to suspend my giving. I’ll give my giving to other organizations.”

Cooperman doubled down on his stance to no longer donate to the Ivy League school, expressing his disgust over staff members who refuse to condemn terrorist acts.

Good for Mr. Cooperman for taking a stand against these idiotic institutions.

The New York Post shares more on the story:

The billionaire was referring to comments made by politics and history professor Joseph Massad, who called Hamas’ attacks on Israel a “stunning victory” in an article he published on The Electronic Intifada a day after the conflict ignited.

Almost 60,000 people signed a petition created by 23-year-old student Maya Platek accusing the university of “condoning and supporting terrorism,” and demanding the professor’s removal.

“Regardless of one’s stance on the conflict, supporting and praising one of the worst acts of terrorism in history is never acceptable,” the petition reads.

A letter of solidarity with Massad was issued in turn, condemning the petition against him and calling on Columbia President Nemat Shafik to “unequivocally guarantee his physical safety and his academic freedom.”

It was signed by thousands of members of the school’s alumni, staff, and student body.

Conservatives have been saying that universities are breeding idiotic leftists for a while now.

Now that Israel is receiving backlash over the war with Hamas.

More people are waking up to the idiocracy that these institutions breed.
