WLTR has been bringing you reports and updates about the tragic massacre in Maine and the ensuing manhunt for suspect Robert Card.

According to sources, the death toll so far stands at 18 with dozens more injured as the manhunt for Card continues.

The latest update from law enforcement officials indicates that the search had widened to include Canada. Border patrol has been placed on high alert as officials continue to look for Card.

We will continue to bring you more updates as they become available to us, for now, here’s what we currently know:

Pop Wave News: “Canada’s border on high alert for the fugitive Maine killer, Robert Card. In a puzzling move, he ditched his cell phone to evade capture after the tragic 18-victim incident. His fixation on stock market crashes and Biden before the massacre raises unsettling questions.”

According to The New York Post:

The Canada Border Services Agency said it issued the alert to officers along the US-Canada border to “ensure the safety and security of Canadians and protect Canada’s borders against any threat or [attempted] legal entry.”

Laura Loomer had this to say: “Can’t believe authorities still haven’t found the Lewiston, Maine Shooter, Robert Card. An intensive manhunt is still underway to find him after he opened fire on dozens of people, killing 22 people.

Did he kill himself? Police searched his house and didn’t find him. From the looks of his social media posts, he liked fishing and spending time on the Androscoggin River.

Maybe Card killed himself out on the water, and maybe his body is floating in the Androscoggin River where he appeared to enjoy spending time.”

CNN is providing live updates as the manhunt for Card continues and the investigation continues to develop.

Daily Mail reported this about Card:

The suspect also appears to have been fairly thoughtful about eluding police. He left behind a cellphone that authorities have recovered apparently suspecting it could be tracked.
