Israel National Security Adviser Predicts U.S. Involvement

The war in Israel wages on as Hamas forces continue to attack to destroy Israel.

As the war continues, enemies of Israel, Iran, and Hezbollah forces threaten to join Hamas in its campaign.

The national security advisor to Israel has predicted that the United States will join the war if Iran or Hezbollah forces join the offensive.

See more from the folks at Fox News here:

Israel’s top national security adviser predicted that the U.S. would get involved in Israel’s war on Hamas if the conflict escalated to include other regional powers like Hezbollah or Iran.

The official, Tzachi Hanegbi, cited the U.S. movement of two air craft carrier strike groups into the Eastern Mediterranean as a key indicator. Meanwhile, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has emphasized that there are no U.S. boots on the ground and no plans to deploy them.

The war has already caused much division in our nation.

Some defend Palestine, some support Israel, and others want the United States to stay out.

It is unclear whether Biden or other parts of the government are willing to take direct action in the growing conflict.

It was announced yesterday that Biden would be visiting Israel on Wednesday.

USA Today has more on that story:

President Joe Biden plans to travel to Israel on Wednesday in a dramatic display of support for the U.S. ally as his administration seeks to prevent the Israel-Hamas war from expanding into a larger Middle East conflict.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who is currently in Tel Aviv, announced Biden’s visit following an overnight meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“He’s coming here at a critical moment for Israel, for the region and for the world,” Blinken said.

The trip will come a week and a half after Hamas’ surprise attack on Israel killed at least 1,300 Israelis, prompting airstrikes on Gaza in retaliation. The death toll on both sides of the war has surpassed 4,000 − about 2,800 in Gaza − and more than 10,000 are wounded. Blinken said at least 30 Americans were killed in Israel.

Blinken said Biden “will again make clear, as he’s done unequivocally,” that Israel “has the right and indeed the duty to defend its people” following the Hamas attack.

The White House and Biden have not made it clear whether the United States would intervene, yet they have recently put 2,000 soldiers on standby to provide medical assistance to Israel.

However, this revelation has left many worried about the possibility of escalating involvement of American support.

The following days will be crucial to the war in Israel and will reveal the extent to which the United States will be involved in the war effort.
