White House Remains Silent On Pro-Palestinian Post

The White House refused to respond to a request for comment after a Biden administration official’s pro-Palestinian social media post resurfaced amid the Israeli conflict.

In a 2014 post, Tyler Cherry, the Department of the Interior’s principal deputy communications director and senior spokesperson, said that he was celebrating the end of the “occupation of Palestine.”

According to Fox News, the post came during the 2014 Gaza War in which Palestinian forces, led by Hamas, the terrorist group responsible for the massacre of over 1,300 people in Israel, launched hundreds of rockets into Israel.

Here’s a portion of the Fox News article:

“Cheersing in bars to ending the occupation of Palestine — no shame and f— your glares #ISupportGaza #FreePalestine,” Cherry said on July 25, 2014, in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The White House, Interior Department, and Cherry himself all ignored requests for comment about the post.

According to the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, an Israeli think tank, the 2014 war between Israel and the Palestinians — which began in early July 2014 and ceased in late August 2014 — began as a result of Palestinian militants’ aggressive barrage of rocket attacks on Israel. An estimated 735 rockets fired from Gaza were ultimately intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome system.

“While this was a war Israel did not want, it was a war that inadvertently preempted a terrorist massacre inside Israel’s heartland, principally through a network of sophisticated tunnels built deep under the border, and intended to stream hundreds, if not thousands, of dedicated terrorists, many on suicide missions, in the quiet of night, to destinations where they could kill as many innocent people as possible and leave Israel mauled as never before,” Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs stated in its own report.

In another Fox News article, there were other tweets from Cherry insulting conservatives and calling them racists.

Here’s a portion of what was in the Fox News article:

In November 2016, Cherry responded to former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly’s statement that “there is no substantial white power movement in this country.” In response, Cherry said “WRONG.”

He also said in 2017 that conservatives in the Republican Party were focused on “white grievance politics.”

“The Tea Party was never about the debt/deficit but about racism and white grievance politics,” he wrote on X.

In addition to cheering Hamas terrorists and insulting conservatives, Cherry has also expressed anti-police sentiments.

He also doesn’t believe in enforcing immigration laws.

And he believes in the Russia hoax, which explains why he fits in perfectly in Biden’s administration.

Cherry’s post resurfaced during the latest conflict between Israel and Hamas. But he has since deleted it.

Instead of having him apologize or issue a statement explaining his tweet, the White House refused to comment on the post and attacked conservatives for what it characterized as personal attacks on Cherry because Cherry is a member of the LGBT.
