A Black Lives Matter chapter in Chicago is facing national backlash after it appeared too celebrate the recent Hamas attacks against Israel.
In a post on X, the Chicago BLM chapter shared an image of a person paragliding with a Palestinian flag.
The tweet comes after Hamas terrorists used paragliders to slaughter hundreds of Israeli men woman and children.

The BLM chapter have since deleted the tweet:
BLM Chicago has deleted their tweet celebrating terrorism. They now say they "aren't proud of" the message they sent out, but they continue to "stand with Palestine & the people who will do what they must to live free." 🤔 pic.twitter.com/MILZxoYWWa

BLM went full mask-off today.

Here’s what The New York Post reported:
A Black Lives Matter chapter in Chicago is under fire for seeming to celebrate Hamas attacks on Israeli citizens in a “disgusting and disgraceful” social media post on Tuesday.
The post on X, formerly Twitter, includes an image of a person paragliding with a Palestinian flag attached to its parachute with “I stand with Palestine” written beneath.
“That is all that is it!” it added.
The post was an apparent reference to Hamas terrorists who descended on Israeli communities with parachutes and gliders over the weekend, butchering hundreds and taking civilian hostages in a brutal surprise attack.
BLM Chicago also posted a number of cartoons depicting somebody expressing outrage over the attacks on Israel, while another calmly lists off talking points blaming Israel for the situation.

Per The New York Post:
The Chicago Black Lives Matter organization that posted a since-deleted graphic seemingly celebrating Hamas’ slaughter of Israelis partially walked back the inflammatory post on Wednesday.
“Yesterday we sent out [messages] that we aren’t proud of,” BLM Chicago tweeted. “We stand with Palestine & the people who will do what they must to live free. Our hearts are with, the grieving mothers, those rescuing babies from rubble, who are in danger of being wiped out completely.”
ADVERTISEMENTThe group, which has more than 60,000 followers, posted an image of a person paragliding with a Palestinian flag attached to its parachute and “I stand with Palestine” written beneath, leading to outrage.
The post was an apparent reference to Hamas terrorists who descended on Israeli communities with parachutes and gliders over the weekend, butchering hundreds and taking civilian hostages in a brutal surprise attack.
BLM Chicago’s backtrack came as the BLM Global Network Foundation reportedly made clear it is not connected to the Chicago offshoot or Black Lives Matter Grassroots group that is also under fire over posts tied to the Hamas attack.
