Donald Trump Endorses Kari Lake for Arizona Senate! Hello, Arizona! I love Arizona. It’s great to be with you tonight and with your next United States Senator, Kari Lake. I wish I could be there with everyone, but I’m busy on the campaign trail and fighting off all of the bad people. And we’re running for president.

We’re doing really well. We’re leading every poll by a lot, in fact, record numbers. And when I’m back in the White House, I need strong fighters like Kari in the Senate. She is a fighter. She’s strong, and she’s good. She’s got a great heart.

In 2024, I will return to the White House and get our country back on track to undo the damage that Biden and the radical Democrats have done. Republicans must win, and we must win very, very big. It’s much harder for them to cheat if we do it like we should, if we swamp them. We’re going to swamp them.

When we get enough votes, they can’t cheat because they can’t cheat that badly. I will need a majority in the House and in the Senate. We have to have a big, strong majority to help me push our America First agenda through and to push it through really fast.

That starts right here tonight by helping Kari Lake win in Arizona, and she will win, too. She’s an amazing woman respected by everybody. Kari is one of the toughest fighters in our movement, and I am proud to give her my complete and total endorsement for the United States Senate. She is very special. With people like Kari fighting for Arizona in the Senate, with me in the White House, we will make America great again. God bless you, God bless Arizona, and, Kari, God bless you. You’re on an amazing journey, and you’re going to win, and we love you very much, and it’s an honor to endorse you. Thank you very much, Kari.”

Per BBC:

Kari Lake, a candidate who ran to be governor of Arizona and refused to concede defeat, says she will seek the state’s Senate seat in 2024’s election.
Ms Lake parroted her ally Donald Trump by insisting her loss in 2022 was the result of widespread fraud.
She enters a close race, which could feature incumbent Sen Kyrsten Sinema and Democrat Rep Ruben Gallego.
Speaking to supporters at a rally in Arizona on Tuesday, Ms Lake spent much of her speech criticising Joe Biden.

The 54-year-old Republican hit out at the president’s policies on the US border with Mexico, attacking media organisations as “un-American” and praising Mr Trump’s tenure in the White House.

“We’ve got one year to save this country and we’ve got to go in a different direction, people. We’ve got to go away from Joe Biden,” she said. “We need to get America first patriots in the Senate.”

“There is an invasion at the Arizona border RIGHT NOW. Kyrsten Sinema and Ruben Gallego repeatedly voted AGAINST funding the border wall. They have rubber-stamped this open borders agenda. Arizonans are sick of it,” she later added in a post to X, formerly known as Twitter.

Per NBC News:

Republican Kari Lake kicked off her campaign for Senate Tuesday night with a boisterous rally in Scottsdale, Arizona, rattling off conservative talking points and playing an endorsement video from former President Donald Trump.

“This mama bear has a whole lot of fight left in her,” Lake said to more than 200 supporters. “I am not going to retreat. I’m going to stand on top of this hill with every single one of you, and I know you’re by my side as I formally announced my candidacy for the United States Senate.”

Lake, a former TV anchor, lost the Arizona governor’s race last year; she’s refused to concede the race and continues to litigate her allegations of fraud. In her announcement speech, Lake suggested divine intervention kept her out of the governor’s mansion.

“After we did everything right, and we saw the disaster of Election Day. Sometimes when things don’t go the way we expect, we find ourselves questioning and asking why” she said. “I said, ‘Why God?’ I think God has bigger plans for us.”
