Former Trump Accountant Testifies Against 45th President…

A former accountant for President Trump has taken the stand against his former client.

Donald Bender claimed that the information he was using to provide accounting services to President Trump came from the former President’s organization and not himself.

Earlier, the CPA was given immunity by the New York prosecutor’s office in exchange for his testimony.

Attorneys for the 45th President wasted no time in pushing back against Bender, who was clad in an N-95 face mask, and at one point told him that he should have kept a closer eye on the former President’s financials.

Here’s what is currently being reported by the leftist mainstream media and court reporters with access to the trial:

According to NBC News:

Suarez noted in his questioning that Bender was the only CPA — certified public accountant — compiling the documents, and that others involved like former Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg didn’t have that level of expertise.

Bender, who said he made $1 million to $2 million a year, said in response to questioning that he was the one responsible for making sure everything was submitted correctly.

But he countered that the company should have provided him with proper financial data, including appraisals.

The Hill provided this update: “An attorney for Trump grilled Donald Bender, Trump’s longtime accountant, over his work on the former president’s taxes, repeatedly iterating that he should have kept closer tabs on the taxes for the “leader of the free world.”

Washington Examiner confirmed:

Bender also said that the information he used to put together Trump’s financial statements came from the company rather than the former president himself.

He concluded his direct testimony just before 1 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, and the court went into a brief lunch recess. Bender was the first witness called in the trial.
