A newly leaked report reveals how the Biden administration views Ukraine and the problems in the Eastern European country.
According to that report, the Biden administration is privately freaking out about the massive corruption inside the country—something that the publicly released version of the report won’t tell you.
The Biden admin even went so far as to cover up the corruption to bolster Ukraine’s image to the international community and the American public.
Will these newly revealed facts finally stem the tide and put the final nail in the coffin when it comes to funding Ukraine?
“[A] Leaked memo shows Biden sees corruption as a massive issue inside Ukraine but that they decided not to press the issue for the first year of the war out of fear of emboldening opponents to aid. The exact moment we were handing them 100 billion,” Saagar Enjeti remarked.

Rep. Mike Lee echoed comments made by Enjeti: “Now we learn that the Biden White House is aware of the same Ukraine corruption and pitfalls that I have warned against, but pretended it wasn’t happening. It is more important than ever to pass the Define the Mission Act and establish accountability.”

Politico broke the story:
Ukrainian graft has long been a concern of U.S. officials all the way up to President Joe Biden. But the topic was deemphasized in the wake of Russia’s February 2022 full-scale invasion, which Biden has called a real-life battle of democracy against autocracy.
For months, Biden aides stuck to brief mentions of corruption.
They wanted to show solidarity with Kyiv and avoid giving fuel to a small number of Republican lawmakers critical of U.S. military and economic aid for Ukraine.
Senator J.D. Vance exclaimed: “Corruption is a massive problem in Ukraine, despite the Biden’s administration’s public assurances. How can Congress rubber stamp Biden policy as the administration lies to the American people? I will continue to vote NO on Ukraine funding.”

“What a time to have a horrific war unfolding in Europe, when the man tasked with rooting out corruption *in Ukraine* was… part of the corruption in Ukraine. Biden might have a minor credibility problem on this one,” Federalist journalist Emily Jashinsky noted.

Breitbart didn’t fail to mention:
The administration’s ongoing concern about corruption has been hidden at the same time Biden has pressed for an additional $24 billion for Ukraine through the end of the year, on top of the $113 billion or so already committed since February.
There is already waning support among the American public for blank-check spending on Ukraine, according to recent polls, and an increasing number of Republican senators and lawmakers are saying “enough.”
