Eagle Pass, a small Texas town with a population of fewer than 30,000, has been at the forefront of an immigration crisis.
An estimated 100,000 people have crossed over the southern border into Eagle Pass.
The crisis has brought national attention and has seen Republicans and Democrats arguing over how to solve the problem.
The federal government has removed the razorwire that Texas laid down to prevent the spread.
Only for Texas to go back through and relay the wire.
Now, amid the chaos.
A new video has emerged that shows migrants staking claim on an island in Texas with a Venezuelan flag.
Watch the video here:

This whole situation is an invasion through our southern border.
Immigrants will increasingly cross our border because our government does nothing about it.
Daily Mail has more on the story:
A Venezuelan flag was planted in the middle of the Rio Grande at the US-Mexico border at Eagle Pass before it was promptly taken down by Texas officials over the weekend.
It is estimated that over the last week an astonishing 100,000 migrants entered Eagle Pass, a small border town of fewer than 30,000. Most have been released after being processed and will remain free as they wait for their asylum appointments – a process that could take years.
According to local reports, most of the asylum seekers are Venezuelans who say they had to leave their home country because of the economic and social collapse of the South American nation under the socialist regime of Nicolas Maduro.
As the crisis continues, the Mexican and American governments and the United Nations are considering setting up a temporary pre-screening program for about 40,000 asylum seekers from Haiti, Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba who are currently in southern Mexico, where there are no mobile US consulates to do this.
UN migration and refugee agencies would review the migrants’ asylum eligibility before they get to a mobile US consulate, according to Mexican Foreign Minister Alicia Barcena.
Our country is falling apart.
We can not handle the influx of migrants coming into our country.
Jobs are limited, and our resources are limited.
BREAKING: Illegals from Venezuela planted a Venezuelan flag on a Texas island in the middle of the river in Eagle Pass, Texas.
This is what an invasion look likes.
And our government is actively supporting and encouraging it.

Illegals from Venezuela have claimed an island in Texas by planting their country’s flag.
Asylum seekers DO NOT do that.

Texas, Happening now: A group of migrants from Venezuela that can’t get through the razor wire on the U.S. side tells another group attempting to cross to go back and cross in another area because they’re trapped and cant make it through.

We need the military on the border to force these people back into Mexico.
There is no reason why Biden shouldn’t issue the military.
The migrant problem is not localized in Eagle Pass.
El Paso is reaching a ‘breaking point.’
More from the New York Post:
El Paso has reached “a breaking point” as thousands of migrants continue to stream across Mexico’s border into the US — and it shared its pain Saturday by busing scores to the Big Apple, its mayor said.
“The city of El Paso only has so many resources, and we have come to … a breaking point right now,” said Democratic Mayor Oscar Leeser at a briefing — where he noted more than 2,000 migrants are being taken into custody there every day.
He said the recent flood forced the town to charter five buses to take some of the asylum seekers to places such as New York, Chicago and Denver — Democratic strongholds and so-called “Sanctuary cities” that cater more to migrants.
“I think it’s really important to note that we have a broken immigration system,” Lesser said in a city where as recently as six weeks ago, about 350 to 400 people were crossing into it daily, a fraction of the current numbers. “It’s the same thing over and over again.”
He said El Paso is rushing to open a new emergency shelter itself to try to better handle the overwhelming influx, as its existing facilities burst at the seams.
Texas is doing the right thing, shipping these migrants to other cities.
Texas knows the effect that this number of migrants has on its population.
Now, Democrat-run ‘sanctuary’ cities will experience it firsthand.
States like Chicago and New York have already seen significant protests over immigration issues, which will only worsen.
