McCarthy Shuts Down Zelensky…

Things are not going well for Zelensky, and to that I say good—it’s high time the drunken Washington elite woke up from their fever dream.

Ukraine is not winning the war against Russia, nor will it—even if the U.S. spends billions to arm the Eastern European nation—which our government has foolishly done.

If the latest intel and independent media reports are to be believed, Ukraine is losing the war badly, yet Zelensky is back to ask for even more money!

Democrats and establishment-aligned lawmakers continue to push for his demands to be met but not Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who likely feels vulnerable due to growing calls to remove him as Speaker.

The leader of the Republican Party recently shut down a request for Zelensky to address a joint session of Congress.

McCarthy stated during a press conference: “Is Zelensky elected to Congress? Is he our President? I don’t think I have to commit anything. I have questions for him.”

Members of the press attempted to ask Zelensky if he was able to secure more funding for the NATO-led proxy war, but he ignored them and continued to walk alongside U.S. lawmakers.

Just The News had more details:

McCarthy (R-Calif.) is still expected to privately meet with Zelensky, but his decision not to host a meeting with all House members on Capitol Hill comes as dozens of Republicans have expressed opposition to President Joe Biden’s latest request for $24 billion in military and humanitarian aid for Ukraine.

Comedian and conservative pundit Tim Young speculates:

“McCarthy rejected Zelensky’s request to deliver ANOTHER joint address to Congress. I guess Zelensky wanted to show up to thank his unlimited ATM again… and whine about climate change to try to get even more money. And as far as McCarthy goes, don’t think the money will stop flowing because he denied the speaking gig.”

Political news host Ann Vandersteel spelled out the writing to Speaker McCarthy regarding continued funding to Ukraine.

“McCarthy MUST finally decline because if he doesn’t, we’ll know once again that we’ve elected the wrong Speaker. Because a House Speaker who thinks that Ukraine’s borders are more worth protecting and securing than our own border, is a Speaker for Democrats, not America First Republicans,” she claimed.

Axios confirmed:

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s (R-Calif.) on Thursday said he denied Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s request to deliver a joint address to Congress.

“Zelensky asked for a joint session, we just didn’t have time. He’s already given a joint session,” McCarthy told reporters Thursday.
