The Steal Begins: Pennsylvania Governor Announces Automatic Voter Registration


Republicans have just suffered a major loss in the battleground state of Pennsylvania.

Democratic Governor of Pennsylvania Josh Shapiro has announced the state of Pennsylvania will have a “Registration Day.”

Shapiro shared in his announcement “I made a commitment when I was campaigning for this office that we would bring automatic voter registration to Pennsylvania and break down the barriers for legal eligible voters.”

Shapiro followed up by saying “This is a key step to make our elections more secure.”

Many republicans in believe the new automatic registration will cause illegal aliens and visas holders to caste votes due to they are registered in the DMV’s system too if they have received a drivers’ license.

Registration Day — that the state will now automatically register residents to vote while getting their driver’s license or state I.D.

“I made a commitment when I was campaigning for this office that we would bring automatic voter registration to Pennsylvania and break down the barriers for legal eligible voters,” Shapiro said in a video posted on social media.

“This is a key step to make our elections more secure,” he said.

Automatic voter registration (AVR) is the process by which people are automatically registered to vote as they enter their personal information into other government agencies, such as a Department of Motor Vehicles. Residents have the choice to opt out of being registered.

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro announced Tuesday that his state has now become the latest to enact automatic voter registration, saying that “No matter who you choose to vote for or what your views are, I hope you’ll make your voice heard.”

The Democrat, in a video posted on X on National Voter Registration Day, said the move is a “key step to making our elections more secure” and will add “important levels of verification to the voter registration process.”

“From now on, when you get or renew your driver’s license or an ID card at the DMV, you’ll be registered to vote unless you choose not to,” Shapiro said.

“And by expanding voter registration at our DMVs, we’ll save taxpayers time and money, reduce the number of costly paper registrations and streamline voter registration for Pennsylvanians,” he added.
