I am honestly speechless at the claims made by a former assistant director of the FBI.
In testimony provided to Congressional lawmakers, Steven D’Antuono, who managed the Washington FBI field office alleged that the agency had so many confidential informants present at the January 6, 2021 protests that they lost count.
Moreover, the level of FBI informants reached such a level that the bureau was forced to conduct an audit just to figure out how many informants were on the ground.
According to D’Antuono’s testimony, an audit was necessary because there were informants present from a multitude of different FBI field offices.
New York Post journalist Miranda Devine broke the story: “The FBI had so many paid informants at the Capitol [on] J6 they lost track of the number, had to do a later audit – and at least one informant was communicating with his FBI handler as he entered the Capitol.”

Rep. Matt Gaetz pressed Attorney General Merrick Garland on the issue at a recent Congressional hearing, and Garland attempted to dodge the question as best he could.
Watching todays congressional hearing. I have to say it comes as no surprise that Garland didn’t answer @mattgaetz question, “Did the FBI lose count of the number of paid informants on J6?” 🤡 🌎

Here are more details of the claims laid out by Steven D’Antuono in The New York Post:
One paid informant from the Kansas City field office was at the Capitol as the crowd surged inside and allegedly was in communication with his FBI handler “while they were in the crowd, I think, saying that they were going in,” according to the former bureau brass.
“They were trying to stop some of the action happening and they left or whatnot.”
Asked how many informants the audit discovered were in the crowd that day, D’Antuono would only say “a handful.”
Earlier this year, Gaetz and others attempted to get answers from the FBI regarding their involvement in the January 6th protests—something that the FBI vehemently denied until this year.

The “Recall Katie Hobbs” page likened the FBI Governor Whitmer kidnapping plot to revelations regarding the January 6th FBI informants.
Because of events like the Whitmer FEDnapping false flag, Wray cannot be given a pass for refusing to answer basic questions about how many FBI Informants he had on J6.
J6 was almost 3 years ago so unmasking agents isn’t problematic unless the FBI has something to hide (like an… https://t.co/FNz97NZvS7

Daily Caller featured an excerpt of a letter penned by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan to FBI Director Chris Wray following the seismic claims laid out by D’Antuono:
“It suggests that the FBI cannot adequately track the activities and operations of its informants, and that it lost control of its CHSs present at the Capitol on January 6,” he wrote.
“These revelations reinforce existing concerns, identified by Special Counsel Durham, about the FBI’s use of, and payment to, CHSs who have fabricated evidence and misrepresented information.”
