Rudy Giuliani SUED Yet Again…

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is in the hot seat once more.

The Trump ally and attorney is being sued by one of his former lawyers for roughly $1.4 million in legal fees the legal firm claimed Giuliani failed to pay.

Robert Costello wants the large sum of money for legal services he reportedly offered to Giuliani for his January 6th case, the Fulton County case, and a pending investigation from Jack Smith’s office.

Giuliani maintains that Costello is vastly overcharging for the services he provided—indicating that he won’t pay the hefty bill. Multiple outlets confirmed on Tuesday and Wednesday:

The Epoch Times reports:

The lawsuit states that Mr. Giuliani received all the invoices for the legal defense and “never raised any objection regarding the correctness of the invoices, the amount billed.”

Mr. Giuliani has breached his retainer agreement by failing to pay invoices in full despite the payments being “duly demanded”, the lawsuit states.

The law firm is also seeking interest accrued on the outstanding payments, according to the legal filing.

Disgraced former Attorney Michael Cohen laughed at Giuliani and took the chance to fire shots at the long-time Trump ally.

The Associated Press broke down the numbers:

Robert Costello and his law firm, Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP, say Giuliani has paid them just $214,000 and still has a $1.36 million tab.

Giuliani’s last payment, according to the lawsuit, was $10,000 on Sept. 14 — about a week after Trump hosted a $100,000-a-plate fundraiser for Giuliani at his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club.
