Aaron Rodgers: “Get Your Fifth Booster”

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending Achilles injury Monday night in his first game with the franchise.

Infamous vaccine tyrant Keith Olbermann mocked Rodgers’ injury and said it happened because the legendary quarterback is unvaccinated against COVID-19.

“Another #SuddenLisfranc due to failure to vaccinate,” Olbermann wrote.

The New York Post reports:

Olbermann’s post was a reference to how Rodgers found himself in the middle of a vaccine controversy in 2021 when he said he was “immunized” but then later tested positive for COVID-19, and he later said he was not vaccinated against the virus.

Rodgers said he was allergic to some of the ingredients in the COVID vaccine and chose to have an alternative holistic treatment instead.

Rodgers also said that he was not an “anti-vaxxer” but wanted to “make the best choice for my body.”

When the news was confirmed Tuesday that Rodgers would miss the rest of the season with a torn Achilles tendon, the team posted a message on X: “Not the way any of us wanted it to go, but we know the commitment you’ve made to this team will continue to impact us moving forward. Get well soon, @AaronRodgers12.”

“Define ‘any,'” Olbermann responded to the Jets’ post.

Rodgers responded to Olbermann’s comments on Friday while speaking with Pat McAfee.

“Get your fifth booster, Keith. Bum!” Rodgers said.

Rodgers remains optimistic about potentially returning for the Jets this season.

From the New York Post:

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers appeared Friday on ESPN with Pat McAfee, two days after undergoing surgery to repair his torn Achilles tendon.

In his first live interview since getting hurt, Rodgers addressed his future by saying, “Give me the timetables, give me all the things you think can should or will happen. All I need is that one extra percent of motivation. So give me your doubts, your prognostications, then watch what I do.”

Rodgers would not rule out returning this season, saying “anything is possible” when asked directly about the possibility.

Rodgers’ hopes fly in the face of medical reality with an eight-to-12 month timeline expected for recovery.

He called Monday “one of the toughest 24-hour stretches in my life” with a “lot of sadness, a lot of tears.”
