Trump Ally Suffers Legal Defeat…

The witch hunt continues to inflict legal casualties on those opposed to the establishment.

According to a recent court ruling, Trump ally Peter Navarro, who served as Assistant to the President, Director of Trade and Manufacturing Policy to President Trump, has been found guilty of contempt.

His only crime? Refusing to talk to a panel of politically-motivated hacks in the Democrat Party—including Liz Cheney.

Navarro responded to the verdict on X: “Guilty. I’m doing my duty to God, country, the Constitution, and my commander-in-chief. Standing tall thanks for your prayers.”

The Associated Press confirmed:

The verdict came after a four-hour jury deliberation. After it was read, defense attorney Stanley Woodward moved for a mistrial, saying that the jurors had taken an outdoor break near where protesters and media regularly gather outside the courthouse and came back with a verdict shortly after.

Mehta did not immediately rule but said he would consider written arguments on the issue.

Attorney and podcaster Eric Matheny likewise highlighted the hypocrisy: “Eric Holder refused to testify after running illegal guns to Mexico. Nothing happened. Lois Lerner refused to testify after using the power of the IRS to target conservatives. Nothing happened. Peter Navarro didn’t want to talk to Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger. Guilty.”

The Epoch Times had more on the J6 Committee allegations:

The committee was investigating the security breach at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, which delayed congressional certification of the 2020 presidential election by a few hours.

The panel reportedly wanted to ask Mr. Navarro about a “Green Bay Swamp” plan that he detailed in a book he wrote after leaving the Trump administration.

The plan called for delaying Congress from certifying Democrat Joe Biden as the winner of the election.
