Jack Smith’s Office Comes Under Investigation…

Jack Smith’s office is now being probed by the House Judiciary Committee, is that surprising to anyone reading this?

GOP Lawmakers, led by Chairman Jim Jordan, have launched an investigation in the Special Counsel’s office over the actions of a senior aide.

According to the House Judiciary Committee, Jay Bratt, one of Smith’s top prosecutors, placed undue pressure on attorney Stanley Woodward to cooperate with their investigation.

Congressional lawmakers allege that Bratt attempted to bribe Woodward into cooperating by telling him that the Biden administration would be more sympathetic to Woodward’s objective of becoming a judge.

The House Judiciary Committee penned this letter to Jack Smith informing him of the allegations:

The Epoch Times provided more details:

The event allegedly took place in November 2022, when Mr. Woodward was summoned for a meeting with Mr. Bratt.

Mr. Woodward has alleged prosecutorial misconduct, claiming Mr. Bratt told him that he should get his client Mr. Nauta to cooperate because his testimony conflicted with another’s, and “threatened” him in saying that could result in his client making a “false statement.”

According to Mr. Woodward, Mr. Bratt said in the conversation that because he did not take him for a “Trump guy,” he was confident he “would do the right thing” and brought up Mr. Woodward’s application for judgeship in Washington, D.C.

Students for Trump founder Ryan Fournier speculated:”Enrique Tarrio’s claim of being pressured by the DOJ seems to be true considering we’re hearing the same allegations from other defendants.”

Just The News explained:

Woodward represents Walt Nauta, who has pleaded not guilty to all charges in Smith’s probe. Prior to indicting Nauta, prosecutors evidently sought his cooperation in the probe, which they were unable to obtain.
