Yet Another J6 Political Prisoner Tragically Ends His Own Life?

What happened to Nejourde Meacham?

The 22-year-old was arrested for entering the Capitol on January 6th and took part in the protests as a non-violent participant. His only crime was entering the building and waving a Trump flag.

Unfortunately, Meacham passed away on August 18, 2023. His cause of death has not yet officially been released.

However, one source familiar with the matter claims that Meacham took his own life.

The Epoch Times initially reported: “A man arrested for entering the US Capitol on Jan 6 has died, according to prosecutors and family members. Nejourde Meacham, known as Jord, passed away on Aug. 28. No cause of death was disclosed.”

However, journalist Julie Kelly, who spoke with sources familiar with the matter, later explained that Meacham took his own life.

MSN provided background information on Meacham’s involvement in the January 6th protests:

Images showed Nejourde Meacham on the northwest steps of the US Capitol at approximately 2 p.m. shortly after the initial breach of the staircase, the DOJ says.

He made his way up the stairs to the Upper West Terrace, the DOJ says, and is wearing an American flag over his shoulders, a red and white checkered shirt, and a black beanie and holding a white flagpole with a red, white, and blue “Trump 2020” flag.

He then is seen entering the US Capitol through the Senate Wing doors, the DOJ document says, adding that Meacham then walked to a broken southern window, looked out, and raised his flag.

He then moved down the northwest corridor, was escorted out of the building by law enforcement, and was later seen walking around the upper west terrace, the document says.

MAGA patriots and concerned Americans offered thoughts and prayers for Meacham while simultaneously calling for government accountability.

Breitbart reminded readers:

Other January 6 defendants have been known to commit suicide, including Matt Perna of Pennsylvania, 37, who was also a non-violent offender and had pleaded guilty. According to his family, Perna died of a “broken heart.”
